Oh yeah... wow, this live topic thing is really useful on this thread.
Excellent feature Andem, made this an exciting thread to watch.

Well congrats to Lizzie, she will finally - legitimately - have a seat at the next Leadership Debate.
Good to know about you. As a friend, relative, advocate, and member, of the GLBT community, the fact that you'd toss lesbianism out as an insult in any way shape or form, is repulsive.
Which is why I support reform to a PR or IRV system. 39.5% does not give a true mandate of the will of the people no matter how you want to slice it. We have a 'representitive democracy' that fails to meet its description.I'm wondering where you studied..... that 60% you keep throwing out is split between 4 other party's. The cons have 40% all to themselves. They have the majority. They polled more Canadians then any other single party.
There are certain men who will characterize ANY woman as whiny, screechy, henpecky, if she's in politics and any kind of threat/power, whatsoever. I say congrats to Elizabeth for taking a seat. But, I'm just a screechy whiner I suppose.

She can be pushy and "in your face"
I'm not so sure about that. She still doesn't get official party status so will most likely be excluded. Look this up in Sept 2015 and see if I'm right.
Just thought I throw this out there for all the nay sayers on Majority.

I think having official party status and qualifying for a debate might be two different things.
Sorry, Karrie, Ms May does deserve congratulations and it is good to see a Green Party member in Parliament.
Yeah, yeah, all my gay friends and family think I'm repulsive too...NOT! They just understand what a sense of humor is.
Yeah, so can most politicians. If a man does it though, it's just 'assertiveness'.![]()
the lone independant wasn't invited to the debate this time so I wouldn't hold your breath ove Ms May getting in. I will actually go out on a limb and say the Bloc will be excluded in 2015 also.
Well now we get to see if Harper makes gay marriage illegal, pot smoking a felony punishable in a super prison, alley abortions a reality, secret F35 bombings.
I wouldn't hold my breath folks.
Are you being sexist here saying men think this way or being sexist by saying women think this way? Or both?
