The zebras hurt us then helped us.....I still say they are done tonight....way to banged up for back to back wins.
.....but hey, you never know.
PS, I hate Tim Thomas.
Ah, Avro..... I don't hate Thomas but I sure wonder at some of his actions in the net - at times he's so loosey-goosey that he's almost asking to be scored on then comes right back and makes fabulous saves - gotta give credit where it is due.
The Habs were absolutely unbelievable on their penalty kills - for a bunch of little guys they have enough heart for both teams. I keep games notes and at one point I wrote that we knew they were great at the kills but they didn't have to keep proving it. Was glad to see that Carey didn't have to stand on his head this time as he had plenty of help from his team last night.
Loved that move by Gionta - one of the hosts commented that it was a 'pretty play' and it was that - too bad it didn't end in a goal but what it did do was show me that these guys were under control and not afraid to take a chance - I relaxed just a bit after that.
Boston lost their discipline early in the game and though they tried hard they just couldn't beat the head of steam that the Habs had built up.
GO, CANADIENS, GO! ROCK THE ICE HABS.
