Nope. I've been very critical of this government.
Oh pull the other one it's got bells on! And just to even things up you know that I have been very critical of those damn beloved Liberal scamps! There just so cute all dressed up in that little red suit. heh heh
While were on the language issue. Neocons? Really? At best the Canadian Conservatives mirror the US Democrats.
Tender ears Cap'n? You and DaS want to do the Teabag thing, I'm all don't ask don't tell man.
Governments are often havens for unscrupulous behavior.
Not that that is any excuse.
What, you mean my comment above this one? Markatolah, you don't make no kinda sense boy. Just put down the Pringles and walk away.
No Harper was elected because it was time for a change. The minority government is the result a horse sh_t smear campaign mounted by Liberals. He has a secret agenda! He'll put troops on the Streets! Don't trust him, he drinks baby blood! We have a minority because of split votes and fear-mongering.
Man you are all over the map here. Obama is the change President, Harper was the Fiberal Prime Minister. Bush was the corporate shill and Clinton was the mucky toucher. So take care to get it right because there is going to be a quiz later on this stuff.
We don't need an election. As much as you want it Canada does not need it, in fact the NDP and the Liberals don't need an election either because the only thing that could come from an election is more of the same at a tremendous cost or a Conservative majority.
Let the voters decide what's best for the country.
Give me a break. The government injected cash where it was desperately needed. GM and Chrysler were going down for the count. The tax break I got on renovations I used and injected it back into the economy as did a lot of Canadians, my biggest bitch would be with the HST that the Feds and Province stuffed down our throats. If you don't think that has hurt growth then you are living in a world of denial.
The government blew the surplus we had, spent foolishly and cut corporate taxes time and time again. Here comes another budget full of tax cuts for the banks. The poor dears, have you seen the dismal profit margins this quarter?
Not even meeting analysis expectations. Sure it's 6 billion after everything is paid for but that isn't alot when you have made even more in years gone by. But those small business, you know the one's who actually employ most of the people in this country, they get nothing, except that HST paper work to manage. Go drive down the street and see how many banks have closed their doors and how many small business have closed theirs. That's the story of Harper and his cash injection.
The Liberals have a track record of playing shell games with other peoples money. How did Paul Martin balance the budget? Oh yeah, he used a Tory GST, he cut transfers to the province, he got rid of the baby bonus, he gutted the Canadian Military, he raised taxes and while doing this they stuffed money into the pockets of their Liberal friends in Quebec. The gaffs on the part of the Liberals were far worse than the blips you guys are stamping your feet over.
A former top advisor to the Prime Minister lobbied officials in Indian Affairs Minister John Duncan’s office on behalf of a project to provide clean drinking water on aboriginal reserves, the Toronto Star has learned.

Former MP Rahim Jaffer, a self-described peddler of government grants, credits and loans, was in fine form, chatting up prospective clients. Early the next morning, Gillani would greet the day with a colourful email to the night’s guests: “Mr. Jaffer has opened up the Prime Minister’s office to us,” he boasted, unaware at the time of how Jaffer’s night had ended.

Sorry who did what now?
Maybe they should have just had people sign an agreement and then change what was in the agreement. I think it's called A Bev Oda, yes?
Yes well the neocons are certainly squeaky clean. "not"
I've said this again and again and again. Sort out your party, get a leader who doesn't look as though he was parachuted in and get some vision for gosh sake. The people of Canada have no interest in putting that buffoon in power and until the Liberal Party gets its act together it will be in opposition.
The Liberal party is just that a party, not a single person making all the calls and holding power close to the chest. Ministers work rather than take dictation from the PMO. That's what they are elected to do though you would never know it from this government. And as for the military, we're trying to extricate ourselves from a quagmire that is Afghanistan and already Harper wants to rush into Libya.
Oh stop being a delicate flower drama queen.
I thought you liked my sensitive side bitchcakes?!?
