I remember reading The Twelvth Planet long ago and the other books about the Gods more recently. Certainly very good food for thought.
It can't possibly be correct though, it makes too much sense.

There does tend to be an aversion to the truth or sensibility. I wonder if the Annunaki were as crazy as we are?

According to Sitchen, we were mad in their image.

Shades of Erich vin Daniken; with an equally scientific and archeological basis, namely - none. Just another con man trying to sell a book.

maybe we were planted here long ago by scientists travelling from another planet.

they 'look in' once in a while, then quickly go home, nothing here interests them now,
I'm sure they have newer and more successful transplants, that have turned out better.

You're right Sitchin just came out of the blue and translated Sumerian for ****s and giggles. Do I think his translations are accurate? I'm not Sumerian so I couldn't tell you. Perhaps there really is a Wormwood?

You'd like the Mother Goddess Sophia story.

But he is such a serious and humourless man. Hard to think he did it on a lark. Even if he is full of it, I still think we are alien because we do not seem to have any connection to this planet or life on it as evidenced by our complete disregard for both.

Sitchin's analysis seems to be the most logical that I have found.
And has been thoroughly dismantled by real scientists, archeologists, not trying to sell books or book gigs at Star Trek conventions.

Certainly very good food for thought.
If you like a steady diet of junk food.

Which is likely why you and Ciffy love it.

There does tend to be an aversion to the truth or sensibility.
I agree. Hence people believing L. Ron Hubbard and Sitchin.

You're right Sitchin just came out of the blue and translated Sumerian for ****s and giggles.
He may not have started out doing it for sh!ts and giggles. But when he realized it would make him money, he ran with the junk science.

Do I think his translations are accurate? I'm not Sumerian so I couldn't tell you.
There are enough credible scientists and archeologists that have translated the same text's, that are booking engagements on Coast To Coast every other week, pushing the next pulp fiction book.

So you're Christian now?

According to the story they come for the gold. Gold eating, it is supposed, gives them extended lives aka Methusela.

Sure that's true but we are already experimenting with improvements to the basic human. We are dabbling at emulating the gods.

Real Credible Scientists and Real Credible archeologists! That's what I like to see. Young people like you differentiating when there ideally should be none. You will help break the backs of the faux science pretenders, like Hawkings. You are doing a good thing.

If we are then we must be a prototype with a more developed model living elsewhere. Not every experiment is successful.

I thought the theory was that they lined their atmosphere with it?

You just have to love the inconsistency of junk food for the mind.

Real Scientists Real archeologists! That's what I want to see.
Really? From where I sit, it sure looks like you don't. You've managed to dismiss every piece of tangible fact presented to you. It's the most consistent thing you do.

That will break the back of faux science.
Why do you want me to break Sitchin's back?

Even the unnecessary qualification of fact has not eluded your fine inquiring young mind. What is the difference between a tangible fact and a faux fact? You cannot be fooled. I am impressed.

The Twilight Zone was fine science programing.
I have no doubt, that you actually believe that. TZ and Sitchin's works are made of the same thing, fiction.

YouTube - Michael S. Heiser, Ph.D. - Zecharia Sitchin is a FRAUD!

If you can muster even a minute amount of critical thought, try going through this site. Complete with traceable credentials, proven facts, and thing of things, an open scientist, that has nothing to hide, willing to debate anyone on Sitchin's work.

There is no end to the mystic nonsense in this culture, promoted by con artists, frauds and the merely ignorant and stupid, irresponsible mass media, an irrational world view that supports unsupportable claims, millions of Internet sites offering junk and self-serving mutual support, and a general ineffectiveness of public education, which fails to teach the basic skills of critical thinking.
