And the knife he got for his visit was much bigger than a teenie wennie dagger.;-)

Now that's a knife that Dundee would be proud of non?

Obama was afraid to wear the hat because he knew it would be used against him at home. :)

He is not paying homage to another country, just respecting a people that also represent a part of your own population.. Looks like he is thinking get me out of here please.

Please....you'd lose your mind if Obama had paid respects like this just like he did with the bow.

No one seemed to care about Bush holding hands with an Arab....remember that one....of course Bush dosen't look like a Muslim...wink wink.

Obama would have been labeled a terror supporter and a Muslim secretly bringing Sharia law to the US if he had done that.

Btw, Harper always looks like he wants to get out of anywhere.

Obama was afraid to wear the hat because he knew it would be used against him at home. :)

Don't blame him, lots of small minds there it seems.

YouTube - GOP Pollster's Focus Group Agrees That Obama Is A Muslim

This piece of video is astounding, maybe because of how routine it’s become. A group of hard core republican voters, coached by GOP “pollster” Frank Luntz, affirm that they believe, seriously, that Barack Obama is a secret Muslim, who is using his position as President of the United States, to stealthily impose a foreign set of values on America. Luntz barely misses a beat, other than a quick “Wow..”, and then plows right ahead, seemingly unable to break persona long enough to stop and say, “Are you people out of your freaking minds?”.

The screen splits revealing an impassive Sean Hannity, one of the master misinformers… who also acts as if this is somehow normal.

Barack Obama has created a virulent form of conservatism in reaction to his extremism. This is very bad for America. It ain't good for Canadians either because it is changing your southern neighbor.

Well, in response to the OP again, I'll just say my opinion of Obama has not changed since he'd taken office. from the beginning I could tell he'd be nothing more than a Mini-Bush, and so far he's proven me right. Of course McCain (with Palin as his second in command) would have been even scarier. Heck, Palin makes Bush look like he can speak English. So I can imagine a lot of smart Americans having voted for Obama with their noses plugged just to keep McCain out.

The system is flawed and this wasn't something we discovered in the 1980s, even during the 1824 election there were concerns about the Democratic-Republicans (a single party) dominating the scene. The irony being, nowadays everything being "bipartisan" in legislature, the Democratic-Republicans are back (albeit with different values).

Revolution will never come from the top. What career politician would recommend a system, such as mied-PR, that would mean an end to easy election victories and funding?
Perhaps there is truth in the idiocracy theory that it is easier for middle class politicians to maintain their lifestyle when the population is too stupid to challenge them.

respecting ones religion is not the same a paying homage to a world leader. The U.S. bows to no man or country, simple nod will suffice.. (till Obama came along)

You mean until a black democrat came along.

It's no wonder why you guys are going down the toilet, you focus on things nobody else cares about.

Just wait. You could elect the best financial wizards in the world or a rubber chicken but that's not going to stop the end of the US dollar being the worlds reserve currency. It's over.

GOOD!

Then maybe we can stop the gravy train leaving the country.
