If Washington is a total mess there is only one group to truly blame. I hope that group wakes up someday....SOON!

This election has all the ear marks of a D grade Holliweird movie. Lots of loud noises and no substance. 99% of all that noise is coming from an electorate that is just emotionally reacting to BS propaganda from idiots like Beck and Palin.

Holy Crap, Bat Man! One black Republican in 114 years! That is cause for pause, now, for sure, eh!?

Tea Party won big in Florida. (Cubans, Columbians and OMG a Black man). What do you have against minorities, there is more racism coming from up north than down here. Seems the BS you mentioned is not taking hold here.

If both sides of the same party stop appointing fraud artists from Wall Street then maybe they'd get somewhere.

A lot of people believe the re-emergence of the GOP in the House is a sign of Obama's failure. I'm not sure that's entirely true. Seems to me more of a Pelosi failure. She never rallied her troops, took no leadership when others were calling for Bush's impeachment, failed to stand up for Obama's HCR efforts, and never countered the barrage of propaganda from the far right in re to the deficit and recession inherited from Bush which is being falsely attributed to Obama.

Did you take my advice?

Did you remember to breathe? LMAOATU

They need to all sit down and start cutting and stop spending.

John Boehner.. what a Schmuck. he's doing his speech and he's crying.. like give me a break! typical Politician. sheesh.

I can't WAIT to bust my buddy from Ohio's b*lls for that!

I'm not sure that's entirely true.

He shares a good portion.

Seems to me more of a Pelosi failure.

She is responsible for the other portion.

She never rallied her troops, took no leadership when others were calling for Bush's impeachment,

Only the whackos were.

failed to stand up for Obama's HCR efforts,

She sacrificed the whole House of Representatives for Obama's HCR! What are you talking about!

Oh she tried. The people weren't buying it.

It a long way from here to the White House. Six weeks is a long time and two years is
an eternity. There are a couple of interesting things about this. If the job picture doesn't
improve, Obama is in trouble. If the economy suffers a setback like I believe it will then
the right will block a saving of banks and companies in trouble. Should that happen and
the Derivative funds come due the fallout will be huge. People don't understand that and
they should. Japan, is a prime example of the what happens when the financial institutions
and bankers get out of control. In 1982 Japan fell victim to the same problems that the USA
is in now and they have been weathering a recession ever since in one form or another.
The biggest problem is the very people who caused the meltdown are the same people
who made gains tonight go figure.

There were quite a few new faces who upset the so called old guard. If they can keep themselves from being taken over by Washington there just might be some changes. Allan West and Marco Rubio are two I am referring to.

Sure, but spending on what? Because I have a feeling we're now transitioning into our next war phase and that's the biggest expense before they make it back on munitions.

Oh, but you can't be suggesting that they cut back on wars? It is an institution, a birth right, a sacred cow. They must have war. Starve to poor first. Ya, cut spending on the poor to finance their wars. That is what makes sense to Republicans.

It's pretty ridiculous how the average American has no concept of the scope of it's own nation's expenditures. If we cut down military expenditures in half, that would not only boost the economy but also pay for some really important social services. It's such a gargantuan waste of money.

War/weapons is the last profitable homegrown industry in the US. Porn comes a close second.

You have the colossal nerve to call anyone a schmuck!

You who display your immaturity along with all your other deficiencies with your interminable self-pitying posts.

Grow up! It is a safe bet that your keyboard is totally tear-drenched.

It would also be a good idea to move out of your Momma's basement.

And Cali missed out on the drug-boost. That was the one opportunity for the nation as a whole to see a win-win of economic and social prosperity. These times really do suck.

Spending on stuff that is not needed. And yes, waste in the military. Not pulling the ammo out of the troops weapons, but not paying 100 dollars for a toilet seat at the barracks.

This whole country is getting fleeced by special interests and people with their hands out. My favorite sacrificial lamb to start the ball rolling would be the National Endowment for the Arts. Bye! Gone! Adios!

No more free money for garbage.

Do you know we still produce helium for our fleet of blimps! Yup...we've been doing it since WWI. Stock piling helium.

Do you know we stock pile wool for soldiers uniforms! Yes... wool uniforms. We subsidize farmers and stock wool.

Enough.

They won't though. They won't cut any of this BS. Then they will get voted out... and so on... and so on... and so on...

EDIT... We pay farmers to allow their cattle to feed on government owned lands. Yes. We pay them.

Those $100 toilets seats are how Black Ops projects ae funded. If the F117 were on the leaky congressional books and scrutiny would they have ever been designed, built and funded?
