alright, well my other piece of advice would be to go to bed at 10 instead. 8 hours is what you're supposed to get, and you're clearly not scheduling that. With age, it will catch up with you.

10 hours? Who manages that sort of sleep? Not enough hours in the day as it is. If I were to go to bed at 9pm, I would feel that all I do is work.

I think 8 hours is an old wives tale. If I get 5 I don't even need a nap during the day. I think a lot of people believe in the 8 hour B.S. and if they don't get it they start to panic. Thomas Edison never got more than 4 hours in his life and went to about 84. Mind you it differs from person to person. There's an old saying too, that one hour of sleep before midnight is as good as two after midnight (that also might be a bit of a wive's tale):smile:

ok I go to bed at 11pm nightly :brushteeth:for a 6:30am wake.

i've been doing this for a long time and man, I swear some nights?? ugh.. :disgust:

I have a 4 year old bed so it's not the bed. I need a cool room to be comfy so I turn the AC on at night to get it cold in there.

some mornings, I feel like I didn't sleep much and then some other mornings I feel pretty good! :walk:

so who can say what for me?

Get (borrow....whatever) 300lbs of dogs, & walk them in the evenings. That on top
of whatever you do during the day will help you sleep. Trust me, it works.

If you're in Regina....I'll alternate evenings with you.

Try not to watch TV right before bed, and you should only use your bed for sleeping or having sex. If you do other activities in bed (like watching TV, or reading) then you'll stop getting automatically sleepy when you get into bed.

If you find that you're tired, then it's probably a sign that you should be going to bed earlier.

I generally read when I go to bed and after about 2 pages I'm fast asleep.
