If the idea of carbon caps, carbon credits, carbon dies out, it's fine with me. It's a lot simpler and more sensible to just tax polluters: the more you pollute, the more you pay.
Who are the polluters? You and me or industry? Should consumers pay for twice the carbon that is coming out of the doubled and tripled in size west canadian refineries?
Why are they getting so huge if were are going to be reducing consumption?
:roll: Who do you think? Hubby and I reduced by a large percentage. Teck-Cominco cut back a lot. My neighbor has a gas guzzler of a truck and a bluddy big boat that runs on gas. Oil companies pollute like mad. Is it that tough for you to figure out who pollutes more than others?
