I think someone is just picking on the Catholic Church because as human as we are I find it quite odd that there are no problems with the Christians.

That is your belief, obviously, but the evidence that the NT is a politically motivated work of fiction is mounting. There were earlier christian writings that dispute those of the NT and were censored or burned to ensure that only the NT would be accepted and that the RCC would become the official religion of Constantine's empire. You are free to believe whatever you choose, but the facts do not support your beliefs in the RCC. It is just another political organization designed to frighten insecure people into following the dogma for the benefit of control freaks.

Just wondering if you guys new that the RCC dubs as many dozens of other churches as the Vatican? Just in case when you say RCC there are that many other churches associated with it, unless you are just specifically pinpointing out the RCC.

I am not specifically pointing out anything. While the current discussion revolves around the Pope, it could hold true for almost any denomination, most of them have child sex abuse accusations made against them.
And why only Christian denominations? Does anybody really think that this sort of thing doesn’t go on in a mosque? Human nature is the same everywhere, absolute power corrupts absolutely whether in a church or in a mosque, whether in the hands of a Catholic priest or a Muslim, Imam, Mullah or Ayatollah. Nobody talks about anything like this in a mosque; it is not traditional to talk about such things in Muslim countries. But child sex abuse probably takes place in Islam as well.
For that matter, why should anybody think that Hinduism or Sikhism is exempt? The fact is, religious leaders have absolute power over their congregation, religious leaders may do just about anything when it comes to their congregation. So child sex abuse probably is prevalent in most of the major religion.
Here in the west we have overcome our shame, our taboos, our reluctance to speak of these subjects openly and these days we discuss them openly. Other societies are not as open. Child sex abuse is something strictly swept under the run in most societies.
Are Chirstians exempt too from these crimes? Like I said in my other post, I find it quite odd how Christians do not have the same problem as we are just as human. I know a conspiracy when I see one.
