But to respond to your liberal Massachusetts post you are right. We are an ultra-liberal state but that does not mean we condone bullying. If anything bullying goes against liberalism. Bullying goes against conservatism as well. This crowd of kids were apparently the popular kids and took it way to far. Two of the boys were former boyfriends of the girl and something happened whereas she fell out of favor with this crowd. And so they bullied and emotionally wrecked this girl.
I still feel they will get their due justice when all is said and done.

Actually, bullying is mostly about control and kids learn by example.
Many people bully in order to attract attention from others, because they may think that they are much superior to others, because they desperately want something they cannot achieve or obtain, to become more popular in their "hood", a majority of people bully due to their mental state.
Bullying is a behavioral pathology. Adding more bullying to bullies is counterproductive in most cases. They simply transfer their bad behavior elsewhere or to someone else.
No arguments here, cept maybe to say, it's really not that much of a challenge, lol.
Then there are those who face Hells most of us can't know or get the living shyte kicked out of them at home and that's the only life they really know ...or that's love.

Yup. Same goes with the justice system. Just as counter-productive, two wrongs don't mean a right. Also, could be the way a child was raised into beleiving that the world is in competition with itself instead of harmony with itself. There are just to many circumstances which could change on a daily basis to pinpoint a cause for bullying.
For example: One day I struck another kid in my class in school because I auctually had deep love for him but did not know how to express my feelings. So striking him was the only way I knew how to share my feelings of love for him. So it goes to show that you never know the true reason.
It's not so much mentality but more in the lines of maturity when it comes to 'How to get along 101' growing up.
As far as transfering bad behaviour elsewhere or to someone else, well it could have to do with all that bad television influence which kids like to copy, or peer pressure or just plain testing out the waters to see how far they can push the envelope to test their luck before they are stopped.
But one thing for sure we do know about bullies for sure that we see over and over, that each have in common, and that is a bully picks on an individual for some time for whatever his reason, and will not stop untill his ego is satisfied.
I gave the most common reasons for bullying.
Like I said, a majority of people bully due to their mental state.

I'm aware. I have to be honest for a second here and must admit and so will you that everyone has bullied at least one person in their life whether it be a peer or sibling. The problem is when it get's out of hand, we do really care. Otherwise, do you really think anyone would waste their time on an individual that didn't mean anything to you?
I remember Bob in High School who got the loudest cheer during graduation from all of us for going through a school wide bully experience. Total respect was the least we could do for Bob for picking on him for 4 years.
The point is you wouldn't think twice about people you didn't really care for.
I remember being bullied in elementary school and some bit in middle school, by the time i got to high school (much better for me)
I remember someone put a kick me sign on my back stole my brothers cd out of my locker and just some people i thought were friends make fun of me (same ones that pick on me in elementary school 4-8 grade i believe
As of into high school there was a new student to class her name is Megan, while people did not like her since she talk to much or maybe she was from mass i don't know. Though i became friends with her and, i just try to ignore the class.
I finally flip out on the class and flip my history book to the other side of the room and starting to swear and i so wanted to strangle someone i walk out of the room and left. Everyone was Shock to see me flip out. At the same time there was aid teacher in there. couldn't really handle anything (she was a nice lady and has help me before)
but i really flip out. and i am usually the quite student. So yea i know how its is to be pick on.
