I never said anything about the invectives being acceptable or not,
Neither of these two worthies can deny what they are and what they've been called.
Your own words speak for themselves.

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM
That's the sound of you missing the point.
There are many reasons not to like Barney Franks, and being openly gay is not one of them. You seem to think that just because a person is Gay, Black Yellow or Red that when they are in politics they need some sort of special coddling because of that. You just have to understand that some of us just don't like them because of their stands on certain things, to Left or to Right. For example Barney Franks was one of the reasons that Fannie Mae and our economy tanked. There are countless reasons for disliking him, more important than his life style. (want another, he was involved with a prostitution ring) I do not like the man and what political positions he represents.

I am not missing any point, TenPenny. I use the term 'tea bagger' strictly as a short form of 'tea party supporters' and nothing else. I couldn't care less how others take it.

....and here you all are yet again following SJP around like lost little puppy dogs.
Ah. So.
Even in defeat, we will claim victory.
The defeat is in your mind only. I stay with what I said before. Teabaggers is the short for tea party supporters in this context, nothing more. If you somehow want to twist that as your victory and my defeat (which is totally incomprehensible to me), be my guest.
They are just pining for their daily fix of SJP, Avro. And who can blame them?
"The only difference is that in spite of all the banshees here I NEVER said that.
Are you seriously trying to tell us that half or close to half of the "tea" protesters are democrats or liberal by that definition?
If not, where were these "tea" protesters when Bush waged his illegal war in Iraq, stomped on the constitution and ran up the debt and deficit?
Just curious.
But you don't know what definition I use for 'defeat'.
I'm perfectly capable of changing the definition of words, too.
"I am not missing any point, TenPenny. I use the term 'tea bagger' strictly as a short form of 'tea party supporters' and nothing else. I couldn't care less how others take it"
That exactly the same as saying that "Ni66er" is just short for African-American or "fa66ot" is short for homosexual.
The only difference is that in spite of all the banshees here I NEVER said that.
I could not care less how others take it.
"It is your right to like or dislike anybody you want. But when the teabaggers shout epithets like 'nigg*r' or 'fagg*t', they are clearly stepping over the line. That is what we are discussing here, not your right to like or dislike somebody"
And when decent and normal people are besmirched by being called "tea baggers" - a depraved homosexual activity - now that is REALLY stepping over the line.
And that is what we are discussing here. Or should it be titled: "The usual liberal hypocrisy"?
I would say ..Obama/Dems have no real opposition at all ..T party holds no threat at all...Besides the sloppy slurs ..Bunch of right wing hacks tryin to stir up support ,yet failing miserably ....
.......And if the G.O.P is relying on guys like John Boehner to lead them forward into the future..They might as well be Dead...
It's all Nothin but a big joke ..A huge game of B.S./ political hype ..All in a futile attempt to try to stir up some attention from the disengaged public.
Obama is the best thing that happened to The U.S in years ..And from what I can see ..For many more to come..
Peace
