Conservative shyte stinks no less than Liberal shyte whose shyte stinks no less than NDP shyte whose shyte stinks no less than....

Get the pic? When somebody elevates any of them to the status of gods, perhaps it's time to examine their own grip on reality.
LW God is the wrong word for a politician, DEVIL is the term, the devil I have a BAD PHOBIA about, is the one who stops me from having fun, and instead says look I am having fun. YOU TO DO DEFERENT.
If you talk about the Liberals, a devil in their own way, but they were not in my face when it comes to smoking my pot, my booze, and the rest.
Why are you forgetting, that this thugs were telling Canadians you should be concerned with the unethical Liberals, when in fact today you are excepting their crap.
The pendulum is gone to far to the right. So no Gods, no Angels, simply both Devils look the same, but one sings a better tune.

JLM, pal all good, here is the reason I have a Conservative phobia.
Now, if you think I should turn a blind eye to political thugary and totally disregard the blunders the current Government is embarrassed by, I won’t because they are fragments of the dismal report card the Conservatives have to show for them self’s in the past 4 years.

Cabinet minister 'thinks his tequila is more important than treating people fairly,' critic says

I am not the guy who likes to walk on a carpet that has garbage underneath it, one, it makes me realize that the owner of that carpet is not tightly and two, is bad for my feet. So, Yes there is lots of bad things when you open the Conservative report card.

At least if we are citizens that care we will talk about the bad Government of their bad performance, and trust that process, the more publicity the quicker the change.

And change we need.

Harper and his Conservatives are like day and night when it comes to remembering that they got in on the premise that they are a clean Government.
Well, I know, and many others know the are not.

Now, if the truth hurts, maybe you are happier to receive a lie then the truth. No offence, but my phobia towards the Conservatives is warranted, when you see the sh!t that comes up through their pipe.

Funny how quick you forget the crap that came down the fiberal's pipe....

Northern Ontario,

If this Thread has to be shut down AGAIN to clean out more Trolling

Thread may just remain closed. As was said before, in this Thread,
Govern yourselves....
Ron: May I suggest to you that a person who continually uses phrases admitedly meant to fluster some anger others and repeatedly does it in thread after thread ad infinitum that, that is trolling.....It may not be as flagrant as "go f*** yourself, but it is just as calculated to anger people and be divisive as any troll I've ever seen in any forum...
In a way, it is worse because a moderator can't pinpoint any actual rule broken because such an individual stays just within the line..
What some of us do is use levity and ridicule to brush it of and that will of course tend to derail to any topic at hand because any thread such an individual gets into is useless as an intelligent discussion anyway and might as well be closed.................Have fun...I don't envy your job one bit....Have a virtual beer on me:eek:ccasion5:

I have no doubt that plenty of folks run for office with good intentions in heart and stars in their eyes. Then, reality sets in and there is a party line to be toed and you have to go against what your constituents want to toe that line.

Look at Chretien and the Hep C compensation thing or Harper and his one-man-show. I have no idea what NDP would do, but here in Ontario - the one time they were in - economic reality and party politics kicked their mule cart over. Bloc doesn't have a hope in Hell of ever being anything but opposition and Green would soon step on too many toes too.

I don't need a Liberal to tell me to beware of Conservatives, or a Conservative to tell me about NDP bad stuff or them to convince me that Liberals are crooks. That's all sales pitch on whatever snake oil is the flavour of the day.

I am not forgetting anything. I give praise where it is due and likewise dole out due scorn. Your pendulum has never gone as far as you think - right or left - nor is it likely to. Canadians are too cautious for that. All politicians are are the mouthpieces for the money that moves the madness. They all sing off-key when the heat is on.

Absolutely, why is that concept so difficult for some to understand?

Yes and when the glibs were in there was a lot of that, government hypocricy. Don't try to put your lame spin on things.

You are putting a lame spin on things. Conservatives are in power today, what they do is important. What Liberals did when they were in power is not relevant today. Unless you think they are the puppet masters and Harper is only a puppet.

You have that right, for starters gun control that has cost us $billions and hasn't slowed down one criminal (who don't register guns) At least Harper has made some motion to crack down on the criminal. Mind you he has a lot more to do - like increasing minimum sentences instead of maximum sentences (which virtually no one is sentenced to)

Is that your way of saying that you don’t have any counter to my arguments and therefore you have to resort to insults and ridicule? If so, thanks. Many conservatives do lack gift of the gab, and they try to compensate for it with insults and ridicule.

Anyway, I think one point seems to have escaped almost everybody about Liberal phobia. Phobia is not fear, as many seem to think. We are all afraid of dying, but that doesn’t mean that everybody has a death phobia. We are all afraid of developing cancer, that does not mean that everybody has cancer phobia.

Phobia means irrational fear, fear without any basis. Thus we have agoraphobia, hydrophobia, arachnophobia, homophobia etc. These are all irrational fears (yes, even fear of homosexuals is irrational).

And in that respect, the title of the thread is quite appropriate. Liberal phobia means irrational fear of Liberals, and many conservatives do suffer from Liberal phobia. The 26 points listed by Countryboy (which he thought of in a flash, if I thought of 26 reasons in a flash to dislike something, I would question if I don’t have a mental problem) really illustrate the phobia (irrational fear) of Liberals vividly.

It ain't working well for you....

YOu're wise beyond belief, Wolf. Generally when people are telling the truth they say it once and let it go. I've found in life (just look at politicians) credibility is inversely proportional to the number of times they repeat the same thing. Anyway I'm off topic so I'll stop now.

Stop now? It has never stopped you before. It is all part of Liberal phobia (irrational fear of Liberals).

The sh*t I've noticed travelling back and forth is a little heavier than any ping pong ball I've ever seen. One of the problems here (and I know I'm guilty of it too at times) is the same sh*t being repeated over and over 47 times. To summarize so it never again has to be repeated
1. People who live in Alberta are Conservatives period.
2. Conservatives are religious
3. Conservatives are hypocrites
4. Harper has borrowed trillion of dollars and squandered every penny and it will take our children and grandchildren 3,000 years to pay it back.
5. Every Liberal since 1492 has run a surplus.
6. The four greatest things the Liberals have done is
a) The Charter (bigger than the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address combined)
b) Legalized abortions
c) legalized gay marriage
d) outlawed capital punishment
7. (Off topic) but we've heard it 61 times - Sarah Palin is a Joan of Arc accolyte.

I think anyone who repeats any of the above should be banned from the forum for 15 years.

1. Nonsense. The Progressive Conservative government has had a good run - since 1971. But, that length in government, provincially, is not unique. The PCs were in power in Ontario for 42 years from 1943 to 1985. Is such a term healthy? Of course not! But in spite of the current Alberta Government's tenure, in many respects Albertans are more liberal than Ontarians. There is more social mobility, for instance.
2. Some are, some aren't. Are some sects more conservative in orientation? Yes! Are others more liberal? Yes to that as well. But, Alberta is primarily secular by temperament.
3. Some are. Some Liberals are as well. And, even some NDPers!
4. We're in deficit now. It is unavoidable because of the US banking and bond melt down. Has some of the Conservative policies exacerbated Canada's deficit position? Of course through the reduction in GST without replacing the lost revenue. But, on balance, among the G8 and G20 we're well off by comparison.
5.No, we've had federal surpluses since 1997 until the recent meltdown. Will we have to pay the money borrowed back? Of course!
6. Bills of Rights in Canada began under Diefenbaker.
7. Sarah was unsuited for leadership. But, that's a US issue.

All of you forget that SJP is conservative by nature. I am liberal by nature but my vote is fluid. Do I think Harper has been a good for Canadian democracy. No, I don't, for a number of reasons. If you are interested, I'll enumerate them.

Hey Spade - I'm interested in whatever you have to say. Go your best lick. The points listed in the previous post were not necessarily the opinion of the author LOL LOL
