Ron Wilson (if you were talking about the American team coach) is a naturalized American citizen, as is the General Manager of the American team, Brian Burke. Technically they have dual citizenship.. but i consider any Canadian who subsequently takes American citizenship is at heart an American. It was an issue for me when they were appointed as General Manager and Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
As for the loss to the Americans, our road to gold just got a whole lot harder, and will have to go through the Russians now. But it might be a blessing in disguise, in a short tournament like this, without a practice period prior, more playing time might get them clicking with thir organization and passing. They had some awesome segments in the game against the Americans, but the Yanks were stopping up all their shooting lanes. They need some adjustments but are still in the hunt.

I was a little disappointed by our Canadian Mens Hockey loss to Our friends/Allies / Hockey Rivals, The U.S... However we still have the chance to redeem ourselves tonight against Germany and move positively/confidently forward, toward that Gold(at least get onto the podium)...from Here on in .Let's make it count...

Ok .OK . SO Canada doesn't "own" the Podium ..(It's a rental ,So U.S, Germany ...don't be jumpin' around ,celebrating up there too much ,wreckin it/scuffin it all up..We have a deposit on it..So You break it you pay for it eh!,,Preferably in Gold..jk
:lol..but considering our numbers and all the great world competition we're up against.. Canadian Olympians and all those involved with the Games are doing a great job representing Canada .. and all Canadian's should be proud of our Olympians....

That's ok $10 is like chump change- on paper we each have a 50% chance, in your mind you have about 100% chance so what's holding you back?
there will be tears tonight from everyone watching her,
I don't know how she can do it, hope it is the right
decision for her, I'm sure she doesn't want to walk away
from everyone who has worked so hard with her, bringing
her this far, and of course her mom would want her to
perform, but I still don't know how she can manage it,
