Yes I was in the Military and funny thing is Soldiers are not hot and heavy about going to War - when they do they go to win - we - Canada- went to many countries ill equipped and poorly trained
Even today the young and very old can still be called up in a war in which you are losing men of the 'fighting age'. Children that become soldiers (say in Africa today) do so as the only way to avoid death. The proof is their dead relatives.

Would you sign a paper that says we should be invaded? Should a few other Nations have the right to decide who owns what we currently own? People go to war over things like that.

Here is how Canada should have been a two state system. The Invaders (that's us) and the owners (Natives being the original owners) Rather than decimating them they should have been elevated to a high status. Sent them to Ottawa (with a copy of how we want things run). The end result is the same we get what we want from the land and the owners are spared death and actually have quite a good life compared to being 3 steps away from death.

It should have been the 5 countries that voted to take land against the will of the owners that ended up being a safe haven for the Jews.

That is only the latest, there are some 400 Arab villages in Israel's borders that are not on any map in use today. All those people should have gotten a lot of money for that land (should they wish to sell), being made refugees (or killed) was the 'solution'. That's how far back things have been going wrong, something that messed up has to have a plan behind it that keeps it from having a solution already in place.

The courts in Canada can hold up treaty cases for 100 years or more while letting the 'infractions' continue.

You can't say we weren't warned. It can also be looked at as the current 3 "City States" of Washington DC, City of London and the Vatican having Jerusalem being added the fourth as a multi religion run beast.

No where does it say these "beasts" have to be monsters does it?

Of course Israel recognizes right of return, but only for people who are Jewish, even if they have no ancestors who came from this area. By the way, some Jews never left. Some who stayed converted to Islam or Christianity. The entire idea of people returning to someplace they've never been would be farsical, if it wasn't for all the resulting death and destruction.

Israel has every right to build anywhere in Jerusalem. From the mid 1850s until 1948, Jerusalem enjoyed a Jewish majority. It was in 1948, when the Jordanians ethnically cleansed east Jerusalem of the Jewish population, that the Arabs tipped the balance of power.

In reality, it was the UN that illegally negated its own charter's Article 80 which allowed the Jewish people to legally make western Palestine, land west of the Jordan River, the Jewish homeland. Resolution 181 illegally partitioned Palestine once again. Also, the Geneva Convention's Article 49 refers to the inhabiting of land by a conquering power of a sovereign nation. Israel in a defensive war captured Jerusalem and the West Bank from Jordan, which had conquered a territory, not a nation.

It was not the Israelis who dealt a blow to the peace talks. It is the Arab leadership, as they plainly want to control Jerusalem, the West Bank and eventually all of Israel as part of their plan to get rid of non-Muslim sovereignty in the Middle East.

I do not support the ethnic cleansing of 10,000 Jews from the West Bank and Gaza in 1947-49. I do not support the ethnic cleansing of 800,000 non-Jews from what became Israel at the same time. I do not support the 60+ years of oppression and injustice suffered by millions of Palestinians. I don't support denying food and medicine from people who suffer malnutrtion and disease. I don't support destroying sanitary waste and water processing facilities. I don't support destroying wells, farms, factories, airports, power generation and distribution facilities...

As a result I don't support what Israel does or the Canadian governments support of Israeli atrocties.

When did Israel grant all Palestinians Israeli citizenship and give them the same rights as Jewish Israelis? Last I heard, millions of Palestinians continue to suffer injustice and oppression at the hands of the Israeli government.

Or did you mean that the US government, like the Israeli government is currently seizing property from one group of people in California and New Mexico in order to build colonies for another group of people based on race and religion?

If I recall, when the US took over these states, the residents were welcome to stay and they got the same rights as everyone else regardless of race or religion, unlike what's going on in Israel.

When Israel conquered Palestine, they drove hundreds of thousands of people off the land and in violation of international laws, treaties and conventions, refused to allow these people to return. In 1967, Israel expanded its territory and has been seizing land for Jewish only conlonies ever since. Is this going on in California and New Mexico too?

Comparable somewhat to how Saudi is - Many Arab countries - one just named a Jew as a Minister of the Govt - they have a grand total of 36 Jews in that country. But 20 % of the Isreali population is Arab.
