If you have the equipment to oppress the world claiming it to be for the good of man and use it daily you are obligated to use that equip for aid as quickly as it can be deployed for war.
Not too hard to understand why many are upset.

Thing about what military equipment it is made to do and the troops are trained to use it in all types of conditions - From Choppers delivering aid to inaccessible areas - to Carrier groups providing command and control of airspace - hospital ships - field hospitals - water treatment equipment - heavy equipment to clear roads - build and or repair roads and bridges - and the list goes on
Have mistakes been - Yes - Every natural disaster is different - from infrastructure destroyed or repairable - to the difficulty in supplying food and medicine in the mountains of Pakistan when they had their quake - Each one is different - each one had mistakes -
But Haiti for some has turned out to be another opportunity to slam the US -

Of course they do. US, Canada, UK, Germany, France or any other country has the authority to create a penny to loan to another country without borrowing it at interest first. They may not pay us back with cash but they will pay with goods or giving up resources.
Tell me why African nations are twice as poor as they were 20 years ago but are leading oil, gold, gem, and agro producers today?

Do armies need highways or roads? Was there damage at the airport? 10 minutes AFTER the quake an American Airlines (flight 18something something) managed to take off no problems. All the flights after that were inbound C130's full of troops to protect "high value assets" and rescue the elite whites and stop and exodus to the DR but no aid for three days.
Media was there and took up valueable air cargo space and human resources that should have been trained First Responders.
Was CNN's Sanjay Gupta there to do humanitarian work or earn his Time/Warner cheque?
There is no shortage of farmland just 20km from downtown to set up a camp and airstrip long enough to land the Titanic.

Why is the average Nigerian living in poverty - Good Govt they have - all the West fault - perhaps you should take an interest in how China is buying up a lot of African resources and I am sure no bribes were involved - Nope - No Sirree - Totally honest those Chinese -

CBC radio news tonight - Port in Haiti destroyed - 2 million homeless - it take time - Most of the supplies now have to come overland from the Dominican - Again the US is at fault.
Why do you say they are at fault? Is ther a difference between a PORT and AIRPORT? Flight 12 now leaving from wharf 3?

Yup. Help for Pakistan came from Afghanistan in the form of Chinooks until USAID took over. Did they send Special Forces those times too?
I heard that as of yesterday food and water was available to everyone, they stand on long lines, but everyone should be getting fed. The main problems now seem to be with medical supplies and the need for more doctors.
JBeee as usual is wrong, there are planes loads of Haitians coming into South Florida every day. The U.S. is giving them 18 month non resident status so they can go get jobs, after the 18 months they may able to apply for citizenship if they want or renew their non resident cards.
