After 400 or so LSD trips I have come to the conclusion that reality is imaginary. Religion is for the gullible, politics is for those who can't handle reality, and status quo reality is for those who can't handle hallucinogens.

you can add "waste is a terrible thing to mind" to that list.

Our medicine has more to do with Jesus than with Darwin since it saves the lives of the weakest and allow them to reproduce.
The same companies that make medicines also make bio weapons.
The reason the weakest are helped is that it is one of the standards God goes by, He judges a society by how well the least of them are doing.
Not all children have equal access to the same things so Dupont and Christ may not be on the same page in all things. The ultra rich are more likely to survive an event that can be seen before it arrives and sweeps away several species.

The exodus was about the weakest becoming the strongest. Evolution is a random choice of what is left from all the extinction (Global) and near-extinction (Continental) events. If the pattern that is taught about the one 70 M years ago is a template then the weakest survived while it was the strongest that died-off. If man originated in Africa how many extinction events happened before man was near the top of the food-chain? Clearly those types of events fight against the survival of the fittest because they do not control all the factors that come into play in terms of how a 'random event' can toast an otherwise promising upcoming species.

You completely misunderstand evolution, as usual. Don't open that stupid can of worms again, you don't know enough about it to talk about it intelligently, and what you think you know about it is wrong.

MHz, if you bring the evolutionist every evidence, they will not accept it.
unless they see with their own eyes the creation of Adam by their own eyes, the thing that is impossible. It may be they will say then: there is some trick.

Dexter, if you see the creation of some mice or some other animals: or they are in the stages of creation, will you believe then?
<http://www.quran-ayat.com/retorting/index.htm#I_Saw_with_My_Own_Eyes_>

So while this is not everyday observation, then why don't they search about such observation and take this into consideration: the appearance of new species in some unexpected regions?

I think some atheists then may say there should be some other explanation. It may be they demand seeing God with their own eyes and He is doing the creation with His hand; which cannot be; so it is merely a matter of guidance.

Actually the real trick is getting normally sensible people to swallow some of the logorrhea in the Bible and the Quran.

By the time of Jesus, the great moral principles God had given to Moses in the Ten Commandments had been turned into hundreds of ceremonial rules. People thought they were living holy lives if they just obeyed all those rules. But many people found enough "loopholes" to obey all the rules and still live wicked and greedy lives (Matthew 23:23-28).

Seems things have not changed to much today, wonder how we would be if we had just followed the 10 basic Commandments. Looks like they had lawyers back then also another similarity to today, and people used them to manipulate religion as we do today.

In complement to my reply #531

God's hand is an implication of His might and His generosity; and it is not the material hand like our hands; and God is Unique: nothing is like to Him.

You and Al-Hilly know even less about evolution than MHz does. Someone who claims, as Al-Hilly does in that essay you linked to, that evolution says man came from monkeys, doesn't know enough to be worth taking seriously on the subject.

what you think you know about it is wrong.
So I'm still batting a 1000 then. In the origin of species when has bigger, stronger, faster been a key to surviving a collision with a comet. What would be the most helpful is being well away from the area, 10 years down the road that might not have even been enough if your food supply has vanished. It would seem the only sure thing in life is that if a species appears it will also disappear in 99% of the cases. In the few that have survived they do not rule the world (as we define it) and they are just as intelligent back then as they are today. It would also seem that a species can also resist evolving should it choose to do so....... either that or their relatives were in a spot that survived extinction-type events, if sponges are the same today as back then, it is likely they can stay that way far into the future. Survival of the fittest only means 'those who can adapt to the environment'. We classify that there are species that can be grouped by the # of toes, 1-5 today. Did that # increase with time of did they always co-exist? If a species with 6 toes is not living (past or present) should we expect that they should be some at some point, even onto 7 and 8, etc given enough time?

If a 6 toed species never exists does that mean evolution has stopped? Wgat could force something like that to stop? One vid I saw on the history of man cover some bone ( in the skull) that has changed ever so slightly over the whole history of man. They did a projection of how man would develop if that change continued at the present rate of change. Our noses, chins, and mouths would get slightly smaller and our brain cavity would get slightly bigger over a very long period of time. Even that is not evolution any more than seeing a curled up fetus unfold into a much bigger standing person and then shrinks slightly before being turned to dust is.
The end of that change could have been determined when that bone first started to change. Birth to death follows a set path for the human body, from beginning of our species to the end of our species there could be a set path that will unfold concerning the changes our bodies will follow. I believe that show also promoted that the bone would one day reach a form that would not change after that.

In theory, one tribe of men is famous for having long legs, that is not from evolution. The ones from their original tribe that had shorter legs either could not run fast enough to save their lives or they could not walk the long distances between supplies needed by the body, water and food. Adaptation is not evolution.

lol, well we should be kind to our scientists these days in light of climate-gate. So far it would seem that the ones messing with the numbers are the office workers, so far. The ones in the field should not get too excited to see a change in temperatures in certain locations over time (rural pasture becomes middle of mall parking lot). It is looking for proof rather than gathering data. (city temperatures over long periods, rural temperatures over long periods are two different studies) Their powers of observation are not always 100% to begin with so it might be an honest mistake on their part. If they would lose their job if there was no reason to 'panic' then it is just a game. Being able to accurately tell what the seasons will be like would be perfect for those who depend on the seasons (food producers) A wetter than normal summer might mean a certain crop would return the best results and a dry, cold summer might suggest another type of crop would be best..

The really sad (lol) part of Climategate is that now everything claimed by science to be a certain way (if it involves billions/year) should be triple checked by an independent body (as if) to see if anything is being hidden pruposefully. IE Big Pharma, are they providing the best service at the cheapest price?

This is good, should take the heat off religion foe awhile, at least until the Christians have to own up to the fact that the Bible says to not kill your enemies rather than the do kill your enemies (real and perceived).

Seems like both entities will lie when it serves their own agenda. In the Bibles parables this would be the servant becoming the master (who controls who).

Thank goodness there are safeguards like yourself out there. What are the last 3 things somebody wanted you to swallow?
BTW what does swallowing have to do with hearing and internal sorting?

Biology will never be able to explain how come a fetus-like species like Homo sapiens has more destructive power than any (other) catastrophic event.
