I guess it's a good thing I don't watch much TV and get most of my mindless pap from here reading greenfish's, sjp's and eao's posts

CWD is scary stuff! That one girl has gone through over a dozen cars. And one guy was so neurotic he panicked if he had to make a left turn on an empty street. Another guy sped like a maniac till he got in front of someone else on the freeway and then slammed on his brakes. It sure made me more cautious about who I share the road with. Good waker upper.

Yeah and yet the drivers that get pulled over are the ones that signal for 3 seconds instead of 5 or because one of their brake lights isn't working--no indication of this on the dash so the officer should warn you, not ticket you--or because they "speed" in the passing lane on an open stretch of a four-lane highway in good weather conditions.

Maybe if highway cops were worth a fraction of their massive paychecks, those idiots/psychos wouldn't be on the road to begin with.

One wonders how these people can afford their insurance premiums.

How many women name themselves after beer?

LOL Not many...unless it's an all-woman brewery or something and even then unlikely.

That's about the dumbest show on tv these days, hope some day he trys to turn some biker to jesus and gets his ass kicked.

Know of them but can't say I watch any of this stuff (Brit cop shows included) but I think would watch that.

The goofy bugger probably has had his butt booted around the block a few times, but that wouldn't be cool to show on his tv show.

Me too, although not Canadian,(yet), I can't understand the religious following of tripe like Dancing With the Stars. I don't think Canada could field enough dancing "Stars" for the program to work here. But then there's the Canuck version of Do You Think You Can Dance; how much more drivel can we take?

Although I do gete a kick out of Dragon's Den, but alas, it originated in Japan and is owned by SONY. On the upside, the American version, Shark Tank, has Canadians Kevin O'Leary and Robert Herjavec on its panel.
Outside of the odd episode of CWD, I manage to miss reality shows. I know, I am soooo colonial and rural, but what can I say? I just like reading, chatting, and being outside a lot.

Someone should put a bounty out on him for bad acting.
I would rather watch Vince slap chop his nuts then the dog and his god fearing family take down some 16 year old kid that skipped court.

The cable company should give rebates for putting crap like that on.

lol Fine. Add "also" after the 2nd sentence.

I thought you were teaching me something I didn't know. I was not trying to say it wasn't brit but American. Was not trying to get you on something.

National Geographic is a great show regardless where it is made.

I don't like the Reality shows but I do like the caught on tape shows. I thought the Canadian idea of putting cameras inside Bait Cars was genious. The US has a whole show for that now.

The world without people was good but now it keeps replaying, and replaying

I loved that show too. It was great seeing how the cities fall apart. I was with my son after football practice on one of the abandoned baseball fields and afterwards I pointed out the overgrown dugouts and said...

"Look...baseball fields without people"

He shook his head.

I saw a couple minutes of someshow that was aboiout the cams inside cop cars. Also a nifty idea. Not that I'd be glued to a tv to watch cops pulling people over a lot.

Mantracker and survivorman are 2 of my favourite shows, mantracker lives not far from me in Alberta and survivorman is just good considering he does all his own camera work.

The other one... Bear Grylls... freaks me right the frick out. He's constantly chowing down on live animals... just vile. How he doesn't have PITA boycotting him is beyond me.

lol gerry - I've become much more discerning about which nuts I allow to lure me into doing anything anymore! ;) What sold me on it is I have a big dinner to cook this weekend, and my previous one (of a different make) has given up the ghost - and the last time I had dinner at Karrie's she put me to work chopping basil for bruschetta - and I realized how much I missed mine for big chopping jobs... and that's what sold me.
