You didn't addess your assertion, however, that employees should have a say in who the shareholders are that own their employer.

I didn’t say employees should have a say. I said that if employees have strong objection to somebody, it is only fair that the owners give the objections a serious consideration.

Telling the employees to get lost and do what they object to out of spite is not conducive to good relations with the employees. In this case, since the players had strong objections to Rush ‘drug addict’ Limbaugh, a fair employer would give the objection serious consideration. And to be fair to the owners, they did consider it seriously, decided that there was merit to the objection and dropped the drug addict on loan from God like a hot potato.

What do you care? You don't even like sports. Sounds like you don't like anyone who's got more than you more....

...or got less than you
...or doesn't agree that you poop posies
...or corners you.

Why not just count the number of ways how great thou are, write it up, count up the periods and call them debating points.....

The Post-Racial America [Mark Steyn]

So black liberal pundit Juan Williams defends Rush Limbaugh, and black liberal radio host Warren Ballentine tells him: "Go back to the porch."
Gotta love this post-racial presidency. At this rate, everything will be all race, all the time, 24/7 by mid-November.
By the way, the folks standing up for Rush in this clip are two black men and a gay woman. Racists!
So two black men and a gay woman walk into the Democratic party bar and Rick Sanchez tells them: "Sorry, we don't serve angry white men."

How many days has it been since he was booted off the group of hopeful bidders? And people are still talking about him. Just as they always do when he makes waves.

The NFL wants people talking about football, not this off field stuff. Unfortunately his fans, don't seem to get that, or get much about the NFL apparently.

Obviously, you write in some odd dialect.

Can you explain what you mean next time? Apparently, what you mean is completely different from what you write.

I don’t recall ever having said that the players’ wishes should be paramount, I have said all along that their wishes should be given serious consideration.

Okay, let me see if I understand this.

First, you said
SirJosephPorter said:
I disagree; I think players should have some say as to who owns the team.
Next, you said
SirJosephPorter said:
I didn’t say employees should have a say.
Now, you're saying

I don’t recall ever having said that the players’ wishes should be paramount, I have said all along that their wishes should be given serious consideration.

You have a problem with consistency, don't you?
I said it, I didn't say it, I said it but meant something different...

There is no inconsistency, TenPenny. I said they should have some say, I didn’t say that they should have the ultimate say, that they should decide what happens.

At least in my dictionary, having some say is tantamount to being taken seriously. That is totally different from saying that what players say should be the final word.

I see no inconsistency, I stand by what I said. The players should have some say, the owners should give serious consideration to what the players are saying.

That doesn't surprise me, because you have changed what you claim to have said, which is something you do in almost every thread that you post in.

I have changed nothing, TenPenny. What I said before and what I said recently is perfectly consistent with each other, as I have demonstrated. OK, you may not agree with that, but that is not my problem.

To me, there is a huge difference between saying that employees should have some say and saying employees should have the ultimate say.

Too far right. Extreme Right...a wicked right dog leg. I think at this point it becomes a boomerang and smacks the person back in the face if they don't duck.

:p

And if you keep going right you are bound to end up left at some point.
