The "perverts" are those that would push there narrow, puritanical world view on everyone else. The perverts are those that can't keep their noses out of everyone else's bedrooms and sexual preferences. The perverts are those that attempt to corrupt our childrens minds with their intolerant views.
WRONG. Its those who are pushing perversion, such as homosexuality, that are corrupting the children.
Funny, the most intolerant are the so called liberals, and I see an awful lot of so called liberals being intolerant to opposing views on this thread. Kind of like the black calling the kettle pot, in the words of Archie Bunker, dont'cha think?

I think the idea is how it happens naturally, like it did when I was a young'n. You didn't have children by adoption, someone else had them. Basically, you cannot have a monogamous homosexual relationship and procreate without the magic of modern science, period. The adoption of a child whose mother or father somehow "turns gay" certainly has a bit of an "ick"factor, but is the only other means of natural children being begat by homosexuals.

As if heterosexuals are the paragons of perfection. Some of the biggest hypocrites around proclaimed themselves to be Christians.

You seem to have quite a polarised view of society, but that is to be understood because pressure groups use black and white absolutes in their arguments to influence public policy and much of the population has drank that brand of Kool Aid. Nominal Christians, especially the extemist ones, do a disservice to the faith. But I've found that the biggest, and most dangerous hypocrites are the extremist nominal liberals, liberals in name only who are anything but. The supposedly tolerant ones who have laws passed that criminalize, or at least Draconianally punish any words or deeds that would run counter to their idea of "perfection" and morality.
well, the government, and society in general, not to mention gays, seem to disagree with you, because my post wasn't a statement of how things ought to be. But rather, explaining how they are, plain and simple. I have a lot of gay friends and family. I see the shift in their lives in the last 15 years. It's been hard to miss. So, complain all you want about it. It's done. :smile:
You know you are running out of anything useful to say when your reasoning comes down to "the children, the children"!
You could also argue that religion corrupts children, television, harry potter, science etc etc.
Then you know nothing about me. Homosexuals are human. Heterosexuals are human. Any hetero that thinks they are any better than a homosexual is a hypocrite. I agree, though, there are extremes at both ends.

Durka has a good point: religions, tv, sports, etc. corrupt kids, too. The point being that if you have kids, your job is to teach them to filter out the corruption and turf it. If all you do is instill them with your prejudices and hate, then that's all they know.
I think the crux of pgs's question was how do they have children natually. Saying that having children natually through invitro or adoption is how things are is playing fast and loose with semantics.
If society in general disagreed with me then we wouldn't have a class every year explaining what we can and cannot say in the workplace, in public or in print, or even in private conversation within earshot of someone who may be offended. Privately I have found fewer than 10% of my co-workers and collegues that would agree with you, this even where non compliance is subject to severe penalties.
Personally I don't really care what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home. Being forced by the heavy hand of the state to agree with it is what I find particularly offensive.
Then I must know something about you because that is a fairly polarized view, not to mention that it is a general and broad indictment.
