Repeating something doesn’t make you right, EagleSmack. When it comes to blacks, conservatives don’t have any credibility, blacks just don’t believe anything they say. When conservatives start getting black votes in substantial numbers, that is when they will have credibility, not until then.
That makes me a racist, right? But then I assume you didn’t need any proof of that, all liberals are racist, according to you. I think conservatives would have more success with blacks if they listened to black concerns and tried to address them, rather than label liberals as racist and claim that conservatives are paragons of virtue when it comes to minorities (and claim that blacks are stupid because they don't vote conservative).
As I said before, your charges of racism falls short, minorities (and not only blacks, but gays, Hispanics etc.) just don’t’ believe anything conservatives say.
Your constituency is white males, and your base is shrinking. Unless you find some way of attracting minorities to your party (and calling liberals racists, claiming that conservatives have a prefect record on race is not the way), your party maybe doomed in the long term.

Actually, SirJosephPorter, the TRUE and GENUINE racists are the African-Americans who - in a block - vote Democrat, ignoring the admonishment by MLK to judge a person by not by the colour of his skin but by the content of his character.

So let us see, blacks are racist and they are stupid? With that view of blacks, you conservatives expect to get black votes? No wonder Republican party has such a huge problem with blacks.
So far the Republican Party has been pandering to the majority, that is, the whites, mainly the Southern whites. For a long time it worked. They totally ignored the minorities, concentrated on making Southern whites happy and they kept on winning elections that way.
The problem is, the majority is turning into a minority, pandering to the whites only probably won’t work for Republicans going forward. Unless they can bring more blacks, Hispanics (a growing minority) into their fold, they may be doomed in the long run.
So both parties are into pandering, it is just that they pander to deferment groups. Republican pander to prolife lobby, gun lobby, Southern whites, religious right etc. Democrats pander to blacks, Hispanics, Feminists, environmentalists etc. Republican problem is that the groups they pander to are decreasing in strength, while the groups Democrats pander to are increasing.
SirJosephPorter, African-Americans are about 12% of the population. Roughly a bit less than 4 million people. Even if 95% of them are incapable to think past their traditional, brainwashed existence, there are a few reasonable ones who see nothing wrong with the first Secretary of State being a Black Person, under a Republican President, or the first National Security Advisor being a black WOMAN and then the first black FEMALE Secretary of State or with the first President of the Republican Party, all of which never ever occured the Democrats, who will vote the right way.
