Then put it in PILL form, under constant medical supervision and strict presciption renewals, like Demerol, with none of the other potentially harmful ingredients in cannabis smoke.

People are prescribed hundreds of dangerous drugs daily without constant medical supervision. What you propose is not only ludicrous it shows that your prejudices are clouding your judgment and thought processes. People who have psychotic reactions to pot already have that potential and it may be aggravated by smoking it. I would be looking to professional help for that condition instead of trying to stop everybody else from going through what you went through. Psychosis is genetic, possible environmental. Pot can heighten the symptoms but it is not a cause.

Religion, here, is used as an example of imposing one's beliefs to be another's truths. This poster preaches his way to be the right way for all.

EVERYTHING?.... Tad exaggerated....

it was bold for a reason. exaggeration implied, but the annoyance is still there. More often than not, people on this forum have a hard time leaving the argument from one thread, one issue, where it ought to be, and not dragging it into another argument.

I don't agree that your parallel is relevant, definitely not in the way you presented it. It just reads as a side tangent meant to get him angry.

Naw ... if I wanted to get him angry I'd have used a nasty name. ;-)

If someone wants to pay less, and have it in its natural form, what is YOUR issue with it? If I want to go chew willow bark instead of popping Aspirin, it seems to me that's my decision to make, not yours.

By extension then people should be allowed to grow poppies and cocoa plants in their backyards, and process it into heroin and cocaine.

Then convince the government and the electorate, who are by majority, as skeptical as i am.

That is exactly what is happening. More and more people in Canada are becoming in favour of decriminalization. I'll point out though that you aren't skeptical, you have made up your mind.

Why should someone be able to grow and proccess heroin in their backyard? Feeling a little jumpy are ya?
