Do you actually believe that bunk? I have had similar visions but they were chemically induced and it involved Jesus riding over marshmallow clouds on his unicorn.

uh huh... like i've said before if you believe in God, then you have no choice but to believe in the Devil. If you believe in Heaven, then you've got to believe in Hell. Us Catholics have Purgatory as a domain of faint hope and second chances.. but ultimately you end up in one of the former.

Only Catholics have that option?

Well, that proves that only those who believe go to hell. It is much healthier to be a non believer. For you it is a fifty/fifty proposition. For me it is a sure thing I won't go to either. I like those odds a lot better.;-)

Your logic is nothing if not consistent, Cliffy. If that's your defense at the Final Judgement (that is if there is a Final Judgement, and God is something other than a Cosmic Muffin).. well..

good luck.. :-|

wrong, but you go ahead and continue living in your own little world.

Even accepting there is a Purgatory and an afterlife, and some level accountability for what you've done in this one might get your foot in the door Gerryh. It'd make you kind of a virtual Catholic.. but i dunno.. it's not my decision... why take the chance. The nice thing about being Catholic is we are not limited to Luther's salvation through faith alone. Good works of sufficient quantity and quality will do the trick.

God must be a super computer seeing as an average of 155,131 die per day... that's a lot of judging to do. World Vital Events

With that amount of judging to do, where does he get the time to perform miracles, create planets, write fiction etc?
