That really reinforces what I said, Greenfish. Canadians are much more respectful of authority than Americans.

And much easier to control and push around. Are you trying to tell us that Canadians adapt the so called herd mentality of Europe and will do what ever the so called "authorities" tell them without question?

I don't think so.

The Penguins overcame the NHL's 38-year-old Game 7 road jinx, Crosby's mid-game injury and a furious third-period surge to beat Detroit 2-1 on Friday night, win the Stanley Cup and prevent the Red Wings from winning their fifth league championship in 12 seasons.

Pretty popular game here.

No, what he's trying to BS about is, he thinks Canadians are more civil. In fact, we get away with a hell of a lot more, then people in the States do.

I don't think so.
That's because you are not brain dead. ;-)

Greenfish, if you want to see respect (or lack thereof), comparing Americans to Canadians, all you have to do is tune into CPAC and watch Question Period in the Canadian Parliament. And watch a House or Senate session in the United States.

Then go and tell SirJosephPorter about respect.

Of course they don't did it again down there.

Agreed...

Not to mention, your chances of being shot by a legally possessed sidearm, are greatly reduced here, lol.

America has the mightiest military machine and the most friendly fire kills in the entire world.

The bullets that is pulled out of a Canadian soldier is either from taliban terrorist’s or American soldier’s gun.

When the entire world expects that you (USA) are to play the role of global beat-cop, there are much higher chances that you'll make mistakes simply based on the notion that they are expending more rounds than anyone else.

Some of the soldiers buried in American military graves were killed from the back.

Brings a whole new meaning of watching your back.

America has proved that they can build good weapons now all they have to do is train the American soldier on how to do the job right.

The world views American soldiers as the Keystone Cops

Are you saying that American soldiers have the right to kill their own just because they are the world cops

"Canadians like hockey and Americans don't."

That is why the cheap Winnipeg Canadians let their NHL team go to the United States.

That is why the cheap Quebec City Canadians let their NHL team go to the United States.

And that is why the Stanley Cup was decided between two teams, supported by those pathetic Americans who don't like hockey.

Apparently you haven't waited outside an arena at five in the morning to get your team some ice time. NHL? That's not hockey.... That's business. Hockey is chasing a puck.
