Has anyone noticed there is a war going on? Things happen in a war at least this
time they didn't shoot their own. If you follow the bouncing ball long enough you
will see the rebels are in full support of coalition allies pounding government forces.
Although I do not support much of Mr. Harper's policies, I do support the government
on this conflict, We cannot and must not allow the leadership in Libya to continue.
Even if at one time we supported this guy, it is like Afghanistan, the most basic of
human rights were being violated in those two countries, actions by the best of
tyrants, that can not be tolerated. When you want to blind or kill little girls for wanting
to be able to go to school, its time to act, as was done in Afghanistan.
In Libya, the dictatorship, has gone way to far, and once people aspired to have the
same freedoms as others, they were murdered in the streets. It is a time when we
should have acted. Yes I agree with many, it is also about oil and resourses, there is
no doubt, but like it or not we do not want the world to sink into a depression.
We could take action against speculators, but the fact is it would not end the financial
problems we are yet to face.
I am and always was against the Iraq war that was a case of aggression without a doubt
but Libya, this is justified.
