Trump is just the spokesman in this issue. He probably has 50 advisors just for national defence alone. He just does the "talkin" others do the "walkin".

WHAT ministry of TRUTH???
George Orwell's 1984: Book Summary. Winston Smith is a member of the Outer Party. He works in the Records Department in the Ministry of Truth, rewriting and distorting history. To escape Big Brother's tyranny, at least inside his own mind, Winston begins a diary — an act punishable by death.

WHAT ministry of TRUTH???
These were was mandatory reading when I went to school and I'd say 95% of the class was engaged in the ongoing discussions as the teacher had us dissect it. They aren't deep reads and you may be able to find them at your library or read/listen to on them on a computer or buy them at a bookstore.

Of course context is important .......

Plot Overview

Winston Smith is a low-ranking member of the ruling Party in London, in the nation of Oceania. Everywhere Winston goes, even his own home, the Party watches him through telescreens; everywhere he looks he sees the face of the Party’s seemingly omniscient leader, a figure known only as Big Brother. The Party controls everything in Oceania, even the people’s history and language. Currently, the Party is forcing the implementation of an invented language called Newspeak, which attempts to prevent political rebellion by eliminating all words related to it. Even thinking rebellious thoughts is illegal. Such thoughtcrime is, in fact, the worst of all crimes.

As the novel opens, Winston feels frustrated by the oppression and rigid control of the Party, which prohibits free thought, sex, and any expression of individuality. Winston dislikes the party and has illegally purchased a diary in which to write his criminal thoughts. He has also become fixated on a powerful Party member named O’Brien, whom Winston believes is a secret member of the Brotherhood—the mysterious, legendary group that works to overthrow the Party.

Winston works in the Ministry of Truth, where he alters historical records to fit the needs of the Party. He notices a coworker, a beautiful dark-haired girl, staring at him, and worries that she is an informant who will turn him in for his thoughtcrime. He is troubled by the Party’s control of history: the Party claims that Oceania has always been allied with Eastasia in a war against Eurasia, but Winston seems to recall a time when this was not true. The Party also claims that Emmanuel Goldstein, the alleged leader of the Brotherhood, is the most dangerous man alive, but this does not seem plausible to Winston. Winston spends his evenings wandering through the poorest neighborhoods in London, where the proletarians, or proles, live squalid lives, relatively free of Party monitoring.

The Pastor not know where his own pasture is at or was he sent there to talk to the prisoners? In the case of it being the latter he should be fighting to stay there and finish the mission.

Trump is just the spokesman in this issue. He probably has 50 advisors just for national defence alone. He just does the "talkin" others do the "walkin".

Trump does the talking and no one does the walking. Remember when Trump said he'd ban transgender people from the military? It's not going to happen. Trump just said it and no military leaders listened to him.

So the US has been telling us since the fat bloated tart came to power but we only have their word for it and I do not have any faith in their Ministry of Truth..

And even before he came to power. It's almost as if this isn't exactly about the person of Kim Jong Un. It's like he's an easy propaganda to focus hatred towards and generate support for war. So long as we have good vs. evil narrative there's no need the political and historical situation in North Korea, or even the military situation. That Kim guy looks like a bad hombre.

WHAT ministry of TRUTH???

Well, there's this:

Donald Trump's 'real news' service fights negative media, slipping support - Washington Times

The Trump campaign has launched a weekly news service on social media to provide supporters with positive coverage of the president, amid surveys showing that Mr. Trump’s base of support and job approval ratings are shrinking.

Conservative television commentator Kayleigh McEnany, who was named Monday as spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, served as anchor of the Trump campaign’s “News of the Week” video for the first time last weekend.

After summing up positive economic news and Mr. Trump’s support for stricter legal immigration limits, Ms. McEnany signed off her first report from Trump Tower by telling viewers on Facebook and Twitter, “Thank you for joining us, everybody. I’m Kayleigh McEnany, and that is the real news.”

And this too:

Trump gets a folder full of positive news about himself twice a day

https://news.vice.com/story/trump-folder-positive-news-white-house

Twice a day since the beginning of the Trump administration, a special folder is prepared for the president. The first document is prepared around 9:30 a.m. and the follow-up, around 4:30 p.m. Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former Press Secretary Sean Spicer both wanted the privilege of delivering the 20-to-25-page packet to President Trump personally, White House sources say.

These sensitive papers, described to VICE News by three current and former White House officials, don’t contain top-secret intelligence or updates on legislative initiatives. Instead, the folders are filled with screenshots of positive cable news chyrons (those lower-third headlines and crawls), admiring tweets, transcripts of fawning TV interviews, praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trump on TV looking powerful.

So is China going to defend North Korea or side with the USA.. ??

Are we going to war with China too?

There is a third option: China steps aside.

I suspect though that before China gives the US the green light, that it would impose certain parameters. for example, no nukes. China would not want fallout on its land.

Also, military targets only. China would want to keep any refugee crisis on its border to a minimum.

Also, China would probably insist on it only as a last resort after all other available sanctions fail.

China would probably be hesitant to side with the US faring that NK could retaliate. They're right next door to one another after all.

Should China just step aside though, then NK would need to do some serious thinking. If it leaves China alone, it would be war between NK and the other allies while China just sits on the sidelines. If NK attacks China, does NK really want to have to fight China too along with everyone else? Is NK really that stupid?

What if Canada cut the following deal with China:

In exchange for China completely closing its borders to North Korea except for allowing legitimate Convention refugees into the country, Canada will agree to a reciprocal freedom-of-movement agreement with China allowing visa-free travel, study, work, and business implemented over 3 years. First year, visa-free travel and business. Second year, visa-free study. Third year, visa-free work.

China would jump on the opportunity. What could North Korea offer China to dissuade it from such an offer?

That's one subject I'm not qualified to comment on. Does Trump have knowledge of the ability of transgenders to perform at military procedures? I imagine if he doesn't, several of his underlings might!
There are some occupations/positions where the suitable of the subject to perform is only one consideration. Another consideration is how he/she is viewed by others.
