How many people lose their jobs from laws that protect Corporations?
Read NAFTA or perhaps it's things like 400% tarriffs on drill pipe. What laws are those?
I see... Sp NAFTA protects the corps and throws the unions under the bus.
It all makes sense now.
Has a Union ever taken a bail out from the people of Canada? Could they in the same way as many foreign companies took CDN taxpayer money and invested it overseas? Can Unions do that too?
Don't even ****ing try... because it's B U L L S H I T !
When contracts are broken there is no need to show up for work is there? Why are some forced to work without contracts? When contracts are bargained in bad faith there is no need to feel bad about breaking them.
Fact is, the only thing that keeps unions afloat is based on the protection afforded to them via gvt.. Take that away and they are no different than anyone else. With any luck, this recent rash of strikes will see gvt reconsider that protection and remove it without delay.
