You know they wouldn't say this to other religions

This is a very growing movement. It would seem a lot of the lesbian groups are growing very concerned about getting dragged into and being part of the trans movement and where it's going. There's been some pretty high profile examples too, JK Rowlings for a start.

As things move forward and the blowback against all the 'woke' crap gains steam a lot of special interest groups with more legitimate arguments like the gays and lesbians are going to have to question whether or not their interests really are the same as the other letter people and racial groups. They'll likely distance themselves more and more to make sure they don't get swept up in any blowback.
I see this happening to a limited extent with women’s groups as well. The traditional and rightful demands for equality are being replaced by all manner of absurd demands that don’t reflect the views of most women.

Exactly, and they risk having their own more legitimate and accepted agendas lumped in with the bat crap crazy stuff in the public's mind. Many gay women are not entirely comfortable exposing children to sexuality and sexual ideas at very young ages, and some of the recent trans attempts to do so are starting to make them uncomfortable. IS that really the hill to die on many are wondering. Is gay people's right to their partner's spousal pension rights really the same fight as the "right" of former men to compete toe to toe with women in 'women's' sports? Do they really want to hook those kinds of things together?

I think moving forward we'll see more and more that groups with legitimate concerns and demands like the lesbians and gay groups tend to distance themselves from the likes of blm, the trans activists and 'trans storytime' types, etc. I have to wonder if we'll also start seeing that more and more from the first nations who kind of got 'stolen' by BLM. The BLM movement just started saying "Blacks and first nations" one day and co-opted their cause. If that starts getting uncomfortable i doubt that'll last.

They're certainly darlings of the left. When M-103 was put forward in Parliament the leftards practically tripped over themselves to genuflect before the muslim community. M-103 was predicated on the number of "hate crimes" against muslims in Canada. Yet according to StatsCan, Jewish and White people saw a higher rate of hate crimes against them than the muzzies.
In Ontario an Arab language newspaper got nailed printing Holocaust denial and other anti-Jewish stuff. The Ontario Liberal's response? They pulled their ads from the paper. That's it.
In super-leftard Toronto it is against the city by-laws to stand at Yonge and Dundas and proselytize, unless you're a muslim. True story.
Here's the scary part. . . you just agreed with a feminist. "When men are oppressed, it's a tragedy. When women are oppressed, it's tradition."

What do Canadian lefties have to say about the way Muzzies treat their women?

And yet the leftards protect them from even basic criticisms by screaming "islamophobia". Besides, when's the last time you heard about a group of leftards condemning and protesting islam for not permitting gay marriage? Or is there no such thing as a gay muslim?
They have all been properly disposed of , by the tried and true method of seeing if people can fly when pushed off a ten story building .

Doesn't seem to bother them. TurdOWE likes muslims, so he must like the way they treat women. Actually much like he does.

Hell, I ain't scared of 'em. Mostly I vacillate between contempt and pity.

Except for the crazy-ass Western women who boogie on over to Shitholeistan to become brides of brave jihadis. They just crack me up!

Uh yeah, that's usually what happens when a group splits off from a larger group.

But you make it sound more than it is.

There's asshats in every group, and the "Alphabet Soup" isn't any different. Actually it's been like that from the get go. Trans people started the "movement" at Stonewall. Gays and Lesbians took it over, used to be afraid of the Bisexuals because they "Wouldn't choose a side" - and that's still an issue today - and now old school Gays and Lesbians are all afraid because of the "rest of it", just like any other set of old people being faced with changes.

Then you got the ones who are against Trans people because of stupid ass fears that straights have. Or because these old fart Lesbians are part of the TERF movement and making up shit to BE afraid of on behalf of "Women" all over.

But in the end, they're not as big as appearances make them, just loud in their assholery.

Just because the T types and beyond are delusional asshats making ridiculous claims about men having periods and getting pregnant doesn't make it true, Serryah.

Just because you want to deny Trans people exist and that Trans men have periods and get pregnant doesn't make it true either, Jin. You can wish and wish and wish all you want, but facts won't change in this instance and that is the fact that Trans men can have periods and Trans men can get pregnant (provided they haven't had hysterectomies yet).

There'd be a difference between actual, legit criticism and islamophobia.

It's kind'a the same issue with Jews and Anti-Semetism, only it's the right that does the protecting.

Besides, when's the last time you heard about a group of leftards condemning and protesting islam for not permitting gay marriage?

Um, I hear of it a lot?

Or is there no such thing as a gay muslim?

LOL um... the only people who think there are "no gay Muslims" are those living in the ME and they're doing it to deny that anyone but straights exist. Kind'a like how the Right WISHES things would be here.

For the men maybe. What do the women get to do? Wait on and serve their husbands while they're boinking their 72 virgins?

Women don't matter to extremist Muslims. Kind'a like they don't matter to extremist Christians. They're objects nothing more. Their job is to "obey".

And what "Views" are they? What demands? Equality is equality and if not everyone is equal, then the call for 'equality' has failed/is a lie.

Which sect of extremist Christians are you referring to ? How many different sects are there in Islam ? Are they all the same ?

If you actually ask 'lefties', most of them are disgusted by it, as anyone should be, and are against the oppression.

Just because no one's out in the streets protesting every day doesn't mean they approve.

Lefties get asked regularly and MOST prefer oppression provided it's for a group they don't like. The vast majority in fact. They would see those they disagree with oppressed, canceled, or if possible have the emergency act declared on them :)

Agreed. It should hire by qualifications and actual experience.
And yet such 'equality' programs where hiring is based on race and sex are heavily supported by the left. What was it you were saying about the left not supporting oppression?
