Yes to QE 2 abdicating when she sees fit, and in favor of the Grandson as King- and not that Fop- Charles.

I doubt she'll ever step down. If she lives to be 100 - she'll still have the crown. Maybe Charles will get to be King for a few days or weeks.

Then they are buggering with the English language!

Thats the way language works in general. It changes all the time.

You are probably Church of England. Do you not allow gay and female ministers? Gays are human and are protected under human rights to have all the same rights as everybody else. Do you still live in a cave?

It wouldn't make much sense to have it otherwise, if you deny them their rights you can't expect them to honour their responsibilities.

If we can deny anybody their rights, we have no rights. Equality is for everybody or for nobody.

I think you are on to something! (But it don't happen in real life)
Some think life is a game of musical chairs where the amount of chairs is equal to or exceeds the amount of participants; a very immature way of thinking.

I don't see why she would care what consenting adult people of sound mind do, BUT whatever it is gay people do it is NOT a marriage by the definition of the word. Marriage is between two people of the opposite gender!
According to whom or what? Some pile of religious pages? Marriage was around before most religions.
Oooooooooooh, isn't EVERYONE bigoted to some degree?
Nope. Everyone has prejudices, but not everyone is bigotted.

Going by your age I would state the following.
You do not have a religious beliefs- I am referring to a major religion - You may or may not have a belief in a Creator. That I am unsure of.

Your definition of Marriage was formed by the following.
The decade you were born
The community attitudes which you grew up in
Influenced by your parents, family and peers as to Gay Marriage.
Just a few factors that formed your view.

Since time began minorities from Gays to ethnicity have always been a target by the majority.

I will bet a dollar to a doughnut that future studies on Gay parents will show the following based upon percentages within the population.

Higher than average income levels
Higher than average educational levels
Well adjusted children who are open to differences that we all have.
Well adjusted children
That is to name just a few.

You have yet to review and consider how you arrived at your definition of Marriage.
Perhaps you should give it some thought. Just sayin is all.

The Queen is not going anywhere as far as being in charge. Charles will have to wait his turn
like all the others. No he won't be around long because the Queen still has some life left in her.

Nope. Try the definition from the authority on the English language. From Oxford's dictionary:
"bigotry
Pronunciation: /ˈbɪgətri/
noun
[mass noun]
intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself"

and

"noun
[mass noun]
1 preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience"

You've said a mouthful there Goober, as far as religion is concerned I'm not sure about a lot of things. My mother probably had the opinion that I should be raised to be the perfect little Anglican, Dad was a little more laid back, I think the Golden Rule and "Peace on Earth and good will toward men" pretty encapsulated his religious views. I know pretty well how I want to live, even if I can't always follow it. (I still have to work at handling ignorant insults) -:) Change was not something that happened so easily 50 years ago as it is today. Back then a minority (or even majority) just didn't take a word out of the dictionary and change its meaning just to meet one's own end. To sum up I would say looking back over 7 decades 1968 was pretty well the watershed year, those raised before then have a little different philosophy than those raised since then. J.M.H.O. (and I wouldn't be able to explain it)

Yeah, I'm not sure which dictionary Google uses (possibly Webster), but I suppose the Oxford Dictionary is also a good authority, especially if we want to subscribe to "Queen's English". I personally think bigotry involves a little hatred, a little prejudice and a little hypocrisy.
