Don't.

I see their numbers regularly.

Yeah having paid construction workers, and having been one, after taxes, and expenses, and weather, const take home on it's own, is much less then 52k a year. Contractors maybe, if they are smart, but not the average workers.

One hundred miles north of Toronto, the average loss is about three months of winter alone, IN A GOOD YEAR, not counting rain days in the rest of the year.

That is for a single adult. Goes up significantly with family.
I've seen a variant on this before and I think it is US numbers but the idea is the same.

Traffic cops are a revenue stream for spendthrift governments.

Traffic cops are a revenue stream for morons who do not see any reason why they should slow down- EVER! If they run over your kid or dog its YOUR fault for letting them loose! Its amazing how often these clowns get into accidents that are caused by somebody else- so THEY SAY!

Every winter after the first snowfall- the news media plays clips of dazed doorknobs standing at the side of the road looking at crumpled metal and muttering: "it isn't my fault"- the road is slippery and I just lost control!

Actually a family- Mom, Dad and teenage son get over $22 grand per year on welfare and can do decently in Durham Region where apt rents are cheapest in GTA! And of course Dad has his various "discounts" available- like 40 pounds of cheese from Costco stuck in those BIG Cargo shorts! And other stuff too- such as Cdn Tire being careless not to put anti theft devices in smaller packages of auto parts like spark plugs and cans of oil that Dad needs for his car- the unregistered, unlicensed, uninsured one that has 2 different plates on it- lifted from junked cars in the local wrecking yard. And fuel is cheap if you are on welfare too- gas and dash is good stuff- till they catch up with you......and as you are a welfare recipient with no money of your own govt does not bother levying fines cause you cannot pay them! And LIE-berals long ago decided that putting people in jail is WAY TOO COSTLY- and it cuts into the amount of gravy available for Hogs!

Such a lifestyle requires some acting ability as you need to convince a LIE-beral judge that it was your drug addiction that compelled you to steal- rather than simple greed- and that the judge should feel sorry for you and release you on probabtion! After all, if you used YOUR money for gas and such there would be none left for chips and smokes and whiskey!

You part of that group??

I guess I should make it known that I did not invent that family- alcoholic Mom and drug addict Dad and teen son all living on Ontari-owe disability pension. Nor did I make up any of the little discounts Dad has been getting- and just try to picture the size of belly you would need to hide fourty pounds of cheddar cheese between your thighs without being noticed as you leave Costco!

Dad is a one man petty crime wave........
