Lots of discussion here in town about where you will be able to smoke weed next week.

My guess is that stoners simply don't care. Once it's legal, they'll be lighting up everywhere.

They're already lighting up everywhere. Downtown already stinks of cannabis.

I would want her to have an allergy test whereby it shows that she has an allergy to cannabis. If medically proven that she is, then I suspect the courts would say her "life" over rules any other right and that the smokers can use alternative sources such as cannabis oil etc.

Otherwise, since she seems to have so many other allergies, I would expect it would be up to her to prove she is so susceptible. It's all well and good to show an epi pen but what is it really for?

Bottom line is that if she is truly allergic, it sucks to be her and I have no clue what the answer would be except as stated above. It'll be interesting, that's for sure!!

The Condo board was looking for excuses to ban weed in the building failing 2 other attempts, by having this brave woman step up with her deadly allergy they have the solid excuse they need. If I were the majority that are voting to have it allowed I would be asking for a Dr.'s report stating that it is detrimental to her health.

Looks like a market is opening up for apartments that qualify as 'a sterile bubble' and you are working from home, you do everything from home.

You can't tell me she go that allergic to so many things 'naturally' either.

I like Quebec's guidelines for the Police, 'Please don't show up for work while high.'

There are but they aren't as effective and thanks to the Charter and the Right to chose your medicine you have hit a dead end.
that is just fake news.

most people who take medical weed take it in edible form, where it is slowly released through the liver so as to provide relief for a number of hours so that you can get a nights sleep.

Here have a do nut
:)

The thing about being allergic to weed is that if you don't cough, you don't get off!

Actually, that's not entirely accurate. How well it metabolizes in your liver depends on a variety of factors. Stuff like whether you've eaten recently, if you're on any other medications or illegal drugs.
The other issue is timing. Edibles can take about 1-3 hours for full effect. Smoking it is almost instant, with other pain relieving effects showing up in as little as 3 minutes. MOST people don't want to wait an hour or three for pain relief.
In fact, I've had medicinal pot where I can feel the analgesic affect within 5 minutes or less after toking.

Some people vape it but I won't after learning a number of unscrupulous manufacturers of vape oils add nicotine to it.

The other issue with edibles is dosage. There's no standardization right now so there are products with varying degrees of active ingredient. Often times as well the product contains more or less of the active ingredient than is listed. This has led to a jump in hospitalizations in just a few years for a substance that is relatively harmless when smoked.

The absolute best way to consume cannabis is up the poop chute. It bypasses the liver and hits in just a few minutes.
