Bluedog: Sounds more like someone laid a gilt trip on your daughter. Teens need to experiment. Not all will have positive results, it is part of growing up.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Don't get personal here dude. My daughter was RAISED to know right from wrong... she didnt have to figure it out on her own! She knows the consequences on her heart, on her mind AND in her soul. All the "Curious" bottom feeders confuse her... ALL For that ONE moment of YOUR exotic pleasure, like I am sure you did... or do... right?:angry3:

Hey, How many of your children were aborted? Ever ask if she is okay, all these years after?

Check it out....
I don't abuse my children. My kids do NOT need to experiment.

Morals. It was taught TO them, not BY others...
Learned at my HOME, not learned in your BASEMENT.

Sound all LOGICAL enough for you?
Maybe that is whats wrong in the world, LOGICALLY- there is no wrong.

I'll pray for your kids too, if you have any... how many? ages?
They will never know it. Hey, It won't hurt them like those bottom feeders will.

"Care to Share"?
How many kids? Ages?:fish:

Well, it is amazing how these threads get off on tangents....

I wanted to discuss two things.....

The first, to rub the noses of the anti-Americans in the fact that in many ways.....for the last 200 plus years, the United States has been at the forefront of the drive for democracy, for liberty, and for progress in society......as well as the fact that it is the individualist, the gun-toting roughneck, the marauding Viking, that seems to instinctively understand liberty....it ain't the intellectuals, the elites, or the bureaucrats.

Secondly, to discuss how giving women the vote changed society?.....and was it a good thing?????? :) :)

I have said it before: laying religious dogma on children is child abuse. Fundamentalists are the biggest abusers. When I ran the youth club in Quesnel the kids confided in me and it was the pillars of the fundamentalists churches who abused their kids the most, mentally, physically and sexually. I even had one fundy threatened to punch my lights out because his daughter told me about his abuses. Yup! I have a lot of respect for the religiously self righteous.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Cliffy,
You didnt say you turned in that fundamentalist pervert. What were you afraid of a guy who preys on children? A child molester? Man, I can't figure you out. You let me down again, I would think you of all people would stand against any person or system that abuses children. ----!!-PUBLICLY-!!---. No?

A pervert is a pervert, of any denomination or, NO denomination. Where is all your social science education?

Or maybe... since there just is no wrong that it is all relevant on that side of the block, no consequences should thereby follow eh? Oh wait, a "biblical" woman was age of menstruation, so.... whatever dude! You will justify anything or NOT- for a point I have seen that.

Same question Cliffy,

How many kids do you have, what ages please. We need to ascertain a "logical" conclusion here. Of course you do have the books right?

Last time, how many kids, what ages??:fish:

Actually, the British Kingdom, later when it formed a Parliament as well as House of Lords was that not an early form of democracy? If so I suggest the Modern Brits are the latest oldest form with the Romans the model.

America however has abused her own "divine" power, she always sought to force her system on others. The Brits not so much? Right? They acted defensively in the WW. However the Brits also had the colonial system for hundreds of years right, and all the modern technology of the time? They gave little to no representative government to their colonies, correct me please if I am wrong.

It is America that is the antagonizer in these the latter days, not seen since the time of Rome. They insist on God as having blessed their form of government, so they HAVE to model it and force it on the WORLD!
Now, I don't know if the US will outlast His return or not. I doubt it. We are too prideful, too selfish, to lusting for the worlds resources. Thus we spit in the eye of the God we believe has ordained us.

We, all men, were put here to be good caretakers of all he has prepared for us. We do not. We will not.

My daughter joined "promise keepers" on her own, she was thirteen. She then was so excited, she promised to stay a virgin until she was married. I was proud of her. Very much so.....
We wonderously shared a tear and as I wept SHE reaffirmed ME just as quietly with her reply... saying, she made that choice, she already had!
All Glory and Power goes to the Almighty one, He changes lives, hearts and redeems souls from every pain and anguish.

Today, back thousands of years ago, and tomorrow. :fish:
Well, I am sure she learned something. We all do. And hopefully it will be a short and quick trip back to being her regular self. Life goes on. We all endure stuff. My hopes for health and happiness are with your family. :)

Partially right. Something else that teens need is encouragement in whatever they choose to do unless it is drugs or something of that nature.

I differ with you here, Cliffy. My Mum is strict Irish Catholic and I had a pretty good dose of religion growing up. I made my way through it without feeling abused and when I began to think for myself, I put the stuff on hold until I researched more. It's only mild brainwashing. I am sure there are people that choose to be religious anyway.

Perhaps you are right that the US has led in the quest for democracy, liberty, etc. a few times. Much more so in its younger years than nowadays, though, I think. Liberty was the prime directive back when Ben Franklin et al grouped and chatted. Unfortunately, like gossip, it has gotten passed about so long, people that abuse the idea of liberty, democracy, etc. have twisted , contorted, and crippled the principles behind the concepts. Besides, the US is a republic, not a democracy, albeit a democratic republic.
Um, I would differ also a little bit, although they may understand liberty, it is the gung-ho firearm-toting marauders that USE their liberty for selfish reasons, hence we had people like Temujin and William, Duke of Normandy, and others running about the planet doing their conquering. That sometimes leads them to limiting others' liberties.
Liberty and democracy aren't tough to understand, you know. People should be able to live the way they want as long as that way doesn't affect others negatively.

As for whether it is a good thing that women gained the right to vote or not goes, I bet you can guess my answer. :D

Voting is a tough call and has nothing to do with gender and to APPEAR to be extending equal rights everyone has to be allowed to vote. The problems arise when uninformed people vote, I often refrain from voting in Municipal elections for that very reason. Too many people vote a certain way because their Union or their church or their bowling team or their Dad vote a certain way. No wonder we often get poor gov't.

Different than the way I would state it, but right on the money. I guess no-one needs to guess my answer now. lol
