Well then employers who think like that better start paying their employees for a 24/7 work period. Unless it's a highly visible position within the company, my connection to my job and employer ends when the work day does, period. If you expect me to continue being an "ambassador of your business" on my time, then you better start paying me for it.

Of course none of that necessarily applies if criminal activity is involved. Gunning the bird at someone however, is not a crime.

I don't think there's really a cut and dried answer to that one. Depends on circumstances, for instance what you do in N.Y.C. probably has a lot less impact than what you do in BumforK Wyoming!
