I don't see this as a left or right issue, although it's clearly being made into just that. We live in a world where an individual can be roasted on a spit if there is enough outrage to stoke the fire. Everyone should be able to finger the president or the the prime minister or call a minister Climate Barbie if so inclined.
However, when we exercise our right of free speech, we have to understand that there can be consequences of that action. If you finger a client who gives work to the company you are employed by, the likelihood of you being terminated is very high. In this case, there is an air of hypocrisy, as members of the same company were exercising their own right on Facebook calling people Libtards.
Quite frankly, the things written on this forum could adversely affect employment and result in discipline or even termination if there is a contract clause.
We have become thin skinned in the 21st century.
