Pretty amazing election! The Public Employee Unions played the same role portrayed by George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. This will be reenacted throughout the country.

MSNBC: Obama Winner In Wisconsin Recall

“Tonight, the really big winner in the Wisconsin recall election is President Obama,” MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell said at the top of his Tuesday program after parent network NBC called the race for Gov. Scott Walker over Democrat Tom Barrett…

Oh, and...

THEY CHEATED

Issuing a call to arms, an angry Reverend Al Sharpton today claimed Republicans utilized fraudulent tactics to win yesterday's gubernatorial recall vote in Wisconsin.

Claiming the results "emboldened the right-wing", the MSNBC host told radio listeners it was a mere trial run for widespread vote theft designed to steal November's presidential election outright.

Comparing their loss to a boxing match, Sharpton told supporters they could either remain "groggy" after a hit on the head or "double-down and get ready to fight"

This idiot is still trolling the American people from the MSNBC pulpit.

Our US Libs are the biggest juveniles when they lose an election.

Just shows you how malleable the uncommitted and apolitical centre of the U.S. electorate is to campaign spending. Huge inflows of cash from the Koch brothers and 'Free Market' groups outspent the opposition by 8 to 1. A central plank of Neo-liberalism (a much more accurate term for libertarian 'neo-conservatism') is the destruction of unions, not just public service but ALL unions.. as a voice for workers rights, collective bargaining and an equitable distribution of wealth.

It producing a gathering tyranny of banking and corporate interests.. under the auspices of the Global Investment Organism that wants to remove all shackles of moral, national and social obligations from business. It is directly responsible for an economy that lurches from crisis to crisis, de-industrialization, vast polarization of wealth.. and a collapsing Global economy. That won't be done without violent social upheavals.. wars and revolutions.

Just listened to the idiot Michael Enright on the CBC interview one John Nichols, a journalist out of Madison, Wisconsin.

These guys are SO out of touch.

They reflected on the loss of good prive-sector jobs, and how income had crashed and retirement benefits had been slashed, and how the workers now had to pay for their own pensions, and how a guy that was a $30/hr machine operator might now be a $8/hr Walmart greeter.

Then they went on to blame the Republican victory over government unions with Walker winning the "politics of envy". The working class, out there in the disaster area, is simply jealous........small-minded was the inference......and simply wanted to deny gov't workers their excellent pay and platinum pensions because of their envy.......their only cause was to pull the gov't worker down to their level.

It didn't occur to either one that the pensionless $8/hr Walmart greeter was PAYING FOR the inflated salaries and excellent benefits of the gov't worker.

Such willful stupidity, blindness, and arrogance!!!

But we all know that government workers are entitled to their entitlements. Even when everyone else is unemployed. Course there wouldn't be $8 Wallywirld jobs if the rich union workers didn't insist on getting everything they buy at the lowest possible price.
