Atheists/Agnostics account for approximately 14% of the world population. It's pretty arrogant of them to believe the rest of the 86% is delusional.

If that 86% all believed the same things--if there weren't, for instance, 10,000 mutually exclusive sects calling themselves Christian--you might have a case there.

The Bible clearly promises that God answers prayers. For example, in Mark 11:24 Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." And billions of Christians believe these promises. You can find thousands of books, magazine articles and Web sites talking about the power of prayer. According to believers, God is answering millions of their prayers every day.

So what should happen if we pray to God to restore amputated limbs? Clearly, if God is real, limbs should regenerate through prayer.

Why Won't God Heal Amputees?

Cause god is a fictional being. Or cult figure.

Yet....all those unbelievers have faith in the IPCC!

You might the rest of us don't

Wouldn't it be impossible to argue that the Bible makes no sense without quoting the Bible? And what believer would make that argument? Nonbelievers are not impartial but they offer insight a believer couldn't. Saying that you have to believe in the Bible to make sense of it is a cope out. If you had an good answer to the question you would have given it.

Catholicism is the largest religious denomination in the world. 16% of the world is Catholic. So the numbers are comparably close. By your logic, if you are a Catholic, you should believe that 84% of the world is delusional, which makes you pompous and arrogant. Every other religion would have a higher percentage of the world that it thinks is delusional.

Fortunately, your argument isn't actually saying anything. Delusional is strong word with implications of mental incapacity. "Wrong" or "mistaken" are closer to how most people actually feel about others who disagree with them. If you said it like that it wouldn't have the same hyperbolic impact you're looking for and would fall completely flat.
