Not at all, im saying you attributed a view to me I do not hold by not fully reading the post I made.

You gave the claim that I felt the European Jewry who could not leave were somehow at fault for what happened.

I said that those who could not leave were not at fault in any situation. I did say that those who could have sent their family to safety but did not for nationalistic reasons (or any reason really) put those other reasons (nationalism, pride, dignity) above their families safety, and thats not a good thing.

I suggest you point out the exact phrase which attributes any view on you. On the other hand, if you choose to adopt it as your own ... that's YOUR problem - NOT mine.

Sure thing.

So ... all the Jews who didn't want to leave their homes or couldn't get out of Europe were at fault for their own fates, eh? Thanks for clearing that up....

Wanna keep digging youself a deeper hole or just admit, for once, you were mistaken?

The doctor was waiting to be interviewed by Israeli TV, when the shell hit killing his daughters and neice. Here is the video:

YouTube - Palestinian Doctor's loss of childeren in gaza shakes viewers

This doctor's tragedy while sad, is not unique. Of the 1314 people killed, 412 were children. 5300 more people were injured.

Off topic: I disagree with those who support Israel's recent attack into Gaza which killed and injured all these people and destroyed thousands of homes. This violence was unnecessary and not a defensive action as portrayed by our news.

Israel's attack was a deliberate and premeditated war crime. There was no rocket crisis. That's a manufactured perception. From June 19, 2008 until November 4, 2008, Israel and Hamas had a ceasefire agreement which Hamas more or less respected. About 15 rockets and mortars were fired from Gaza into Israel during this time. Not a single Israeli died as a result. Hamas was not responsible for any of these attacks and they arrested anyone who attacked Israel in violation of the truce.

During the same time period when Hamas respected the ceasefire, Israel violated the ceasefire by blocking 80% of humanitarian food and medical aid destined for Gaza in violation of international law and Israel's ceasefire agreement with Hamas.

As a result of food shortages, most children in Gaza suffer chronic malnutrition. Parents watch their children grow stunted and emaciated, yet the world ignores their suffering. As a result of Israel's medical aid blockade, Gazans die of easily treated diseases.

As a result of Israel's blockade of parts and construction material as well as Israel's deliberate destruction of infrastructure, most Gazans lack access to clean drinking water and the streets are literally flowing with raw sewage.

Despite Israel's truce violation and lack of respect for international law, Hamas respected their truce with Israel.

On November 4, 2008 Israel militarily attacked Gaza without provocation in what appears to be a cynical and criminal attempt by Israeli politicians to boost their popularity before an upcoming general election. From Israel's ceasefire violation in November 4 until recently, these politicians escalated Israel's violent attacks on Gaza until it became a full fledged conflict shortly after Christmas 2008. During this period of escalation, Israel's leaders rebuffed repeated attempts by Hamas to return to the terms of the original ceasefire.
