The socialist countries that exist are that way by choice, the capitalist nations exist because the leaders do not want to be stressed by endless sanctions. The price is they do not protect the citizens like the citizens pay them to do.
None will ever submit again once they have escaped, that is the will of the people rather than a Government decision.
Do you understand why you are the coward in the world, yet you expect endless rewards.

Communist (Socialist) countries exist by choice? Do you ever read history outside of a Mosque or from Sputnik news? C'mon man get real let's go back to the beginning did you ever hear about the Bolshevik revolution? How about the aftermath?

Communism is not socialism.

Nobody has forced Norway into socialism. They have adopted it themselves are are the most successful state in the world.

Russia forced Norway into socialism are you another one that needs to read history? Russia forced all the Northern nations into socialism due to being afraid of the populace following the Marxist revolution.

Communist Party of Norway

Post-Soviet world
Around 1990 there were also tendencies within NKP working for regroupment. In the 1989 parliamentary election they joined forces with Workers' Communist Party (AKP), Red Electoral Alliance (RV), and independent socialist to form Fylkeslistene for miljø og solidaritet (County lists for Environment and Solidarity). NKP also had joint lists with RV some places in the early 1990s, while at other places members of NKP campaigned for RV. This policy of unity was, however, abandoned around the mid-1990s.
A defining moment in this process came when the party opposed the Soviet coup attempt of 1991 against Gorbachev by the "old guard" of the Soviet communist party.
Today, the party's statement of principles explicitly acknowledges that the Soviet Union represented a violation of democratic principles and that the party has to take responsibility for its lack of criticism of these problems. The party does however still view these countries as examples of socialism and progress over the respective countries' preceding regimes.
Even though NKP did survive the collapse of the Soviet Union, inner turmoil, and particularly lack of recruitment amongst youth has since marginalized the party further.
In the early 1990s the party attempted to counteract some of this by electing younger leaders to the party's top positions. However, this move failed to boost recruiting much, and subsequently the party's leadership was again dominated by older members, many of whom joined during the Soviet era.

Campaign booth ahead of the 2009 election.
NKP won three elected posts in the 2003 municipal elections, two seats in the municipal council in Åsnes and one in Vadsø. The Åsnes branch, by far the party's strongest at that time, left the party in 2004 to form Radical Socialists due to disagreements over the questions of religion, Joseph Stalin, and cooperation with other leftist groups. In addition, an NKP member was a member of the Porsgrunn municipal council, elected on the RV-list until he joined RV. In later elections NKP has received about 1,000 votes. In the 2005 parliamentary election, it won 1,070 votes - 0.04% of the national total. In 2007, it could not find enough candidates for a list in Vadsø, and thus does not currently have any democratically elected representatives.
In 2006-2008 NKP's youth league was changed from the old Young Communist League of Norway, to the new Young Communist League in Norway. The new league changed its name in 2008 to the Youth Communists in Norway.
The party still publishes a weekly paper called Friheten ("The Freedom"), which was started as a clandestine paper in 1941.

Postwar

1945-1950[edit]
In the following legal purge, 53,000 people were sentenced for treason and 25 were executed.[110] The post-war years saw an increased interest in Scandinavism, resulting in Scandinavian Airlines System in 1946, the Nordic Council in 1952[111] and the Nordic Passport Union [112] along with the metric system being introduced.[76] Reconstruction after the war gave Norway the highest economic growth in Europe until 1950, partially created through rationing private consumption allowing for higher industrial investments. The Labor Party retained power throughout the period and enforced a policy of public planning.[113] The University of Bergen was created in 1946.[114] The 1950s saw a boom in construction of hydroelectricity[115] and the state built the steel mill Norsk Jernverk and two aluminum works.[116] State banks such as the State Housing Bank, the State Educational Loan Fund and Postbanken allowed for governmental control over private debt. Oslo hosted the 1952 Winter Olympics.[117]
Norway retained its neutrality policy until 1947, focusing on its membership in the United Nations,[118] where Trygve Lie had become the first secretary-general.[119] However, there was no enthusiasm for the UN at the time [120]. Anti-communism grew with a Soviet proposal for joint control over Svalbard and especially after the 1948 Czechoslovak coup d'état, after which the Communist Party lost all influence.[118] Norway started negotiations for the creation of a Scandinavian defense union, but instead opted to become a founding member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). However, Norway never allowed permanently stationed foreign troops or nuclear weapons on Norwegian soil to avoid agitating the Soviet Union, with which Norway from 1944 shared a land border.[121] NATO financed large parts of the Norwegian military investments, which ultimately resulted in a numerous airports being built throughout the 1950s and 1960s.[122]

but actually if Norway is communist and also the most successful country in the world you have done more than prove socialism works - you have proved communism works.

That is not going to help you win White Natty of the Year.

Wow you should teach history at Trump University. But before you do you should look up the difference between totalitarian communism and democratic socialism. You also might want to research Norway's historical connection with Russia during the Cold War. Norway was and is a member of NATO BTW.

We all know they are not a communist country and I never said they were, I said communism forced them (and the other Scandinavian countries) to be very Socialist the threat and popularity of communism forced the Governments to offer strong social programs to appease the masses. The threat and growing popularity of Russian backed communist parties were growing at an alarming rate to stay in power concessions had to be made. BS I know you are just playin silly bugger you took this up in HS, as for the other two posters well you know, one is trolling the other is trying to get out of a closet Lol

Yes they are a founding member of NATO mostly due to the threat of Russia either by invasion or by putting a puppet ruler in place.

I have no idea what this means: "you took this up in HS." As for the rest of your post you clearly state that "Russia forced all northern nations into socialism" There is really very little evidence for that. The socialist movement in Europe was strong long before the communists took over Russia.

High School, and back in the day everyone in HS took up how popular Marxism was, and how influential it was around the world. I provided 2 posts to show how it influenced Norway.
