I may have made the case for more extensive training with firearms.........in Canada, you can get a license without ever having fired a real gun.

I certainly made the case for allowing trained citizens to carry handguns.

Tell me about it. I was playing a computer game yesterday, and this morning I went out and launched an assault on a factory with all my gaming buddies. Hey, we just couldn't help it. We had to get it out of our system.

I never said it would, but weapons are controled in Switzerland and people art trained how to use and respect them.

What goes on in the States is quite the opposite.

I have said this in the past, Switzerland does not have the same ethnic issues that the U.S. has....it's something people just aren't willing to admit.

In case you missed it, I own 2 hand guns and am a member of a club.

I can certainly agree with requiring education pertaining to weapons, requiring people to learn to use them responsibly etc. Fair enough.

Yeah! Cuff him and stick him in front of an intelligence aid video game like "Whirled". Who knows, maybe something will click.

And Japan shows that the lack of firearms does not mean crime disappears.

don't use the 'c' word. His paying the game too many times might have programmed him to press buttons on explosive devices when he sees that word.
