I say we must declare war against violence. I know a company downtown that makes violent video games. I'll start building Molotov cocktails right now for tomorrow morning.

Oh, yes, and violent films too. I have a friend in Seattle who's a pilot. He could probably weaponize it with some improvised devices so that we can bomb that violent cesspool called Hollywood.

Any of you pacifists with me?

Back on subject....Israel has a very low rate of murder, despite the political problems........

I was surprized to discover they also have strict gun control. Guns are registered.......and each person is restricted to ownership of one handgun....and they must have served in the Israeli military......BUT they can carry that weapon, and many do.

I always get disgusted when a Israeli civilian blasts some nefarious evil-doer into a well-deserved meeting with Allah and 72 Virgins.....our media always describes him as "an off-duty soldier".... :)

They just can't deal with the concept of an armed civilian.

Thanks for that...I had no idea....I never though of looking up Isreal.

With respect to the media...technically they are right.
