Hey rude boy, I used to own a bible, and I actually read it cover to cover, you know what, it was a long tedious read, full of good intentions gerry. I know you can;'t fix the world with it, I know you can't cure disease or stop war with it, I know many who belong pay no attention to it no matter what day it is, I know the millions who have died in war for it, I know it in no way can make a bad man good, in fact I know where it came from when it was edited what languages it was written in, the historys of it's authors, where and when original copys were found and most of the works from the same period that were included and those that were excluded and why. S o gerry there is a chance that I may know considerably more about it than you do, but you just keep leaping on my back all you want in contrevention of the words you suppose you keep ok.

and yet you can't seem to quote it properly........

So now my memory is your problem? Proper quotation does not make a christian. In fact I believe I'm a better christian than you are gerry, without the certuification of course but I'd stake my life on me being better than you in the christian way, in fact I'm sure of it. Your mindless persecution of me prooves that, pretender.

Of course you are......

Maybe you should see someone about that "persecution" complex of yours.

Seems to me all versions of a Christian Bible contain both Old and New Testements. Been a day or so since I darkened a Church doorway, but there was a lot of it drummed into my head way back when....

Woof!

and I would say, that is the problem when someone that really doesn't know what someones beliefs are, starts spouting stuff from "their good book".

Maybe you could help me gerry since you seem to be reaching out to me in my time of need. If you are what you think you are you'll run along and find some other little morality battle to spend you virtually worthless mind and time on.

and what....leave you to spout your relativistic clap trap unimpeded? I think not. Obviously, I am doing something right since you are trying so hard to get rid of me.

Hope you're not implying that I'm hanging a belief that's not yours upon you as you're quoting me. To clarify, my post is in response to Karrie's re: Old Testament and turn the other cheek....

Woof!
