Scientists are people again?

Sloppy authoring BTW. Can you pick out the stupidity in what you just quoted?

You said people don't trust people.

I said I agree and that it is noted in the article, and showed you an example of where that is in the article.

You are now visibly upset about me agreeing with you.

Based upon the converse of the OP title, I wonder why so many unreasonable people do not doubt science?

Proctologists are scientists. If one said you need a sphincter transplant even though nothing seems wrong to you, would you fully trust or get a second opinion?

Why or why not?

The OP used fluoridation as an example and made spurious claims as to what the fluoride used in water systems was. I corrected that improper statement. It was an example of how people were and are lied to.

There is nothing spurious about the claim that fluoride at or below certain levels in water is not harmful.

Didn't say there was. The spurious claim was that the fluoride used came from "natural" supplies. Which is spurious at best considering it IS a by product of fertilizer manufacturing.

Do you trust the monitoring of levels?

For me and mine, I don't have to worry about it since the city of Calgary stopped putting fluoride in our drinking water 3 years ago or so.

Since hundreds of millions drink fluoridated water wouldn't there be a lot more disease attributed to fluoride if any of the OP was true?

Fluoride is just an ionic version of fluorine. I am not saying that being a natural element is inherently good, but being on the periodic table of elements supports their assertion that it is a 'natural mineral'.

CO2 is natural also, as is CO.

Another flaw in the OP is that selective breeding and trans-species splicing of genes in GMO crops are the same. How does the author expect plants and bacteria to interbreed?

We've never had fluoride in our water in Regina. Lower mainland, I've never looked into.

Not at all. Ever heard of chirality?

Yea, I know.

That's why I stated in my post that you just quoted that just because something is natural doesn't mean it's good.

It's a concept that anti-vaxxers and prolifers have a lot of trouble with.

Where did the OP say that?
