Poverty does not cause a child to have a child. A child having a child causes poverty. Finishing high school is a choice. Not joining a gang is a choice. Not having a child until you have the maturity and the means to raise that child is a choice."
Quoting Larry Elder

Again, he is spouting typical far right philosophy. Not having child until you reach maturity is a choice. The question is, what are you going to do with the teenager who has become pregnant? Are you going to force her to have a child because she made the wrong choice?

Apparently Elder would. To far right, freedom means freedom to make the right choice, right as deemed by the far right. They want to deny people the freedom to make any other choices than the ones far right deems correct.

In a democracy, people should be given all the choices. Thus, I agree that not having a child until you reach maturity is a good choice. But getting pregnant while being a teenager is also a choice and the teenager should be left alone to deal with it as she sees fit. She may decide to have the baby and raise it, she may give it up for adoption or she may decide to have an abortion. The choice should be hers. It is not up to Larry Elder to decide which choice she should be forced to make.

As to left wing of Democratic Party being hated by Americans that is certainly true of teabaggers. Teabaggers hate Democrats with a passion, as was evident with the racist, homophobic remarks by teabagers recently and the incident of spiting by a teabagger.

However, if American people hate Democratic Party with a passion, why did they elect Democrats in such big numbers in 2006 ands 2008? By every test, I am sure you could consider Hillary a liberal, so by your definition, Americans hate her with a passion. Why did they elect her twice to the Senate from New York?

I am sure you think Obama is a liberal, so I assume you think that Americans hate him with a passion. Then why did they elect him in 2008, over a Republican?

I am sure you also think that Clinton is a liberal, so I assume Americans hate him with a passion. Then why did Marinas elect him not once, but twice to presidency?

In short, it is only your opinion that Americans hate liberals with a passion.

It does not matter what Larry Elder is, what he wrote that I quoted is fact. The only ones I see holding any contempt for anyone lately is the Liberal Democrats, not the regular Democrats or Republicans. In fact the so called Tea Party was born as a result of that Left Wing contempt.

I find these threads that get overloaded with generizations soon become somewhat boring. Does anyone else find it that way?

You actually think a teenager is capable of making a intelligent choice as to whether to have a child or not? Do you think they though how they would support this child, or what the consequences to their lives would be raising a child as a single mom under 18, let alone under 15. I know some may criticize me for what I just said, but unless her Mom and or Dad help out she and that child are in for some very tough times. Just for the record I am not against abortion, just against that their is no (lower) age limit as to who can have it without permission from a parent or guardian.

"Why are tea baggers white?"

Tea-baggers,by definition are sick, depraved, twisted (pardon the redundancy) HOMOSEXUALS. They are about 8-10% of the population, and within that group, blacks are about 12%.

Why are ALL participants of the "Million Men March" black?

Why are ALL participants of an anti-Republican, Anti-American (in other words, DEMOCRAT) demonstration VIOLENT, breaking windows, busting stores, looting, while so called "tea-baggers" are content just to carry their hand-made placards?

You're fixated on 'tea bagging', aren't you?

I suggest that you try either giving or receiving, maybe that will make you stop constantly posting about it.

TenPenny, please, pardon me for quoting the title of the original post, and Heavens, pardon me for the horrible sin of commenting on it!!!!

I have no interest in teabagging (according to your definition), but you obviously took part in such activity.

"Constantly posting about it"? This thread has 311 posts. How many are mine? Or yours?

The racial aspect of the Tea Parties can be troubling. A sign that some of the Tea Partiers like to carry around is one with just a year printed on it. I believe the year is 2042. This is supposedly the year that the US Census Bureau projects that non-whites will be a majority in the US for the first time.

I guess the Tea Partiers are expressing anxiety about a coming non-white majority.

Of course, it certainly seems racist. Wouldn't be caught dead at one of those things.

You are the one who keeps making comments about tea bagging being some sort of 'homosexual' activity. You must have a fixation about it, you're the one who keeps discussing it.

TenPenny, tea-bagging IS a disgusting, depraved and sick practice, which is entirely in the domain of homosexuals. And the "fixation" belongs to and owned by liberals who keep on using that expression.

My objection to using the terms "TEA-BAGGING" and "TEA-BAGGERS" is for that reason.

All the in sufferable jerks who have referred to and keep on referring to the peaceful protesters to higher taxes, the normal people who object to socialism/Marxism/Communism, promoted by the President as TEA-BAGGERS try to paint them as disgusting and depraved and sick as the homosexuals who revel in that practice.

I will voice my objection to decent people labelled as sick, disgusting and depraved homosexuals until they the sick, depraved and disgusting people stop besmirching them in such a vile manner, or I get banned, whichever comes first.

From what I hear it is a college student prank. It has nothing to do with sexual preference. Your ranting about disgusting homosexuals just paints you as a homophobe, and any psychologist will tell yo that a homophobe is a closet queen. Most closet queens are terrified that they will be found out and refuse to even acknowledge their own sexual preference.
Jack! You protest too much. You are letting the cat out of the bag (or queen out of the closet) inadvertently.

That is your opinion. I have already given my take on it. My take is that Tea Party is simply the far right Republican base, which is mad because they don’t have any power in Washington for the first time in 12 years. That is why they have taken to protesting in the streets and are resorting to bullying tactics, intimidation of Democratic politicians.
