This pledge is valid and should have been done years ago. The rise of illegal immigrants from other than Mexico is on the rise. People from Asia, Central America and Africa has increased by thousands.

Yes.

And if you read the stories at the links I provided they do talk of people coming to the USA on visitors permits from other than 'Latino' countries and disappearing.

I don't see any problem with people who are convicted of a crime being deported if they aren't US citizens.

I'm pretty sure that's what Canada does.

And that is what has happened under the Obama administration which has ticked off the advocates against deportation as they claim Obama is the deporter in chief.

The bottom line as Kreskin has pointed out is 'how much will it cost?'

They are already paying billions to gather up and deport 400,00 a year. I guess it all depends on if Trumps team is willing to hire more people to round them up, build more holding cells, hire more judges and other government workers to process them all.

But maybe they are willing to do that and spend all kinds of money while cutting taxes on the 1%.

At the end of the day, Trumps promised step up from the record Obama has set likely won't happen......

If they are already in prison, they don't need to be 'rounded up'.

If they are charged with a crime, they are already in custody, so they are already 'rounded up'.

Ummmmmmmm....If you read the articles I posted you would have a better grasp on the situation. The minor crime(s) they may have committed 20-30 years ago did not result in them being incarcerated for life but deported.

And, they came back. It's a revolving door.

And, if Trump is going to deport 2-3 million of them ( assumably all at once) then somebody will have to round them up as only close to 400,000 get processed in a year at Obama's historic rates.......

how much do you think it costs to leave them loose?
cut off the aid to Isreal...
because Israel is a non signer of the NNPT, all that aid is illegal anyhow

those WELFARE billions will pay for everything Trump wants to do

Israel can then have all the legal donations it wants from the people that they collect taxes from

trump is just going to cut off the freebies
they will go home by themselves

like drunks do when the free booze runs out
simple non?

wow, trump is bad because the sky is falling...the sky is falling...
lol
and like one has to often do when you by a bar from some losers
you have to renovate and clean house

calling that racism, when it is about criminals, is sick
The arguing is done. Now it's time to get on with it, then see what the costs/benefits are. Until then no one knows.

Right - there are two or three million Mexican criminals and drug dealers. If that made-up number was even close to real there would be almost no way of getting them out of the country without a bloodbath. And incarcerating that number - even the US doesn't have that much room in its prisons.

They don't still have Gitmo? They probably wouldn't be incarcerating close that number- just the ones who are American citizens, the rest would be Sayonara!

I don't see any problem with people who are convicted of a crime being deported if they aren't US citizens.

Once in a blue moon, but the sounds of it. I'd like to see the figures!

The two or three million he's talking about won't happen over night. More than likely over the next 8 years. I'm not sure if most of them would be Mexicans, probably lots of South Asians and from the Middle East.

That's what all the Leftards say. I just heard Rachel say not so long ago, "In the long run, reducing carbon emissions is good for the people and therefore money well spent"
There's a difference. Lock up a criminal and he can't commit crimes against the public, for the most part. But even if we completely eliminate our carbon emissions, the world will still continue to warm up, and there is absolutely nothing we can do to prevent it from happening.

Think of the children though.

Another brick not in the wall.....

Tohono O’odham Nation said not so fast:

Tribal leadership of Tohono O’odham Nation in southern Arizona said they won't support a border wall project on their land. Part of their reservation extends into Mexico and covers 75 miles of the international border.

Tribal Vice Chairman Verlon Jose, who invited President-Elect Trump to the border to explain why a fence would not be a good idea for the tribe or the country, said “Over my dead body” will a wall be built.

I wince a little when I hear “over my dead body” from an American Indian, since in the past we know how that worked out..

Majority of U.S.-Mexico border residents don't want Donald Trump's wall

The Trumpites have already shown they don't care about minorities however, much to their chagrin, Trump appears to be backtracking on his wall idea. That's good news for conservatives like me.

Actually it is simplistic rather than simple. People desperate enough to sneak into the US in search of a better life are not going to be deterred by having benefits cut of since they get no benefits where they are. They have nothing to lose by staying where they are. Also the Dumpster can only cut off federal benefits. He has no control over what each state decides to do or what NGOs or individual US citizens in the US may decide to do. As a result I suspect cutting off federal benefits will have little or no effect.

Why? Do a lot travelling between the US and Mexico do you?

Oh, we do ...

mostly back to the States.
Yeah, but only if they're White. If they're a visible minority, good luck. Like the goof that's been here for over decade illegally, committed something like 3 serious crimes and they still haven't been able to deport him because he keeps appealing it. And our govt sure don't care about plastic Canadians either.
