Not a Conservative Majority……

That would be same ol' same ol'. Lib majority. Con majority. We get walked on. They abuse the power. Harper minority? Same ol'. He needs control before the lights go on. Dion minority? Maybe. A weak one. That way he doesn't dump any new taxes on us - but you can bet needlenose will squirm. Layton minority? Probably won't go anywhere because Libs and Cons will do all they can to screw things up. They want the power. Layton minority with Green swing? There's a change....

Good fair comment LW, I KNOW THE Liberals are way behind in forming Government but we definitely need a strong opposition in order for the lights to really come on……….

Who do I blame? Well, Harper, obviously. He's to blame for everything. High oil prices. The poor performance of the Blue Jays. Huet's trade. Tainted meat. Goddam it, he's busy, but he's to blame. Damn right.

I admit they got sloppy what else do you what to see. Please answer the question if there was a strong Conservative opposition do you think that the Liberal Governing party would have gotten sloppy………………………I don’t think so…… any country with a monopoly political environment would be subjected to the same Political outcome.
LOL, you admit they got sloppy but you still won't blame them. You are an idiot!!! The opposition in a majority government can't do anything.... A minority would be the best thing.

Risus it takes two to tango, politics is not a monopoly. In order to make politics work in favor of the people, we need to see two very important things in place. I am sure you and many here know all these, lets just chuck it a s a reminder……………
We need a strong opposition even though we have a majority of any kind. Usually a majority Government environment, the opposition is not always a true advocate for the people. They tend to get lazy and they don’t hold the Governments feet to the fire…………..I admit the Liberals got sloppy at the end, but the Conservatives have a worst record of dismal performance………..of lying and thievery…….

None of them are snow white, but you are trying to blame the conservatives for what
the liberals did, 'not fair', and 'not true', admit what they did, and hold them 100%
accountable.

Tallola you look deep into it and you will see the fish.............

We need two political parties in order to performe afective Government, a stupid monopoly makes things deficult........

Two parties? Screw that. We need the third to keep the first two honest. Lousy government is lousy government no matter whose colpurs they hide behind.

Thank you for the correction LW, THREE works for me and common sence............

Sorry Soc. You're try'n to quote me on a different thread. It was CJME 980 News Talk and
it's in Saskatchewan. 77% for the Con's is kind'a low out here, and 4% for the Lib's isn't
really too much of a surprise the way this Green Shift plan is going over, but I mentioned
the survey in that the NDP had the balance of the support and that was the surprise. It
had nothing to do with the Sponsorship Scandal. It was on the "NDP might end up being
the Opposition" thread....

Sorry, I meant the "Liberals might end up in third place" thread...I've done the bouncing between 3-4
threads at the same time thing too and it happens. 980 CJME does lean to the right, in that it's trying
to cater to the majority of it's listeners (the population of Saskatchewan). The Conservatives currently
hold 13/14 seats out here, and I thought 77% sounded low myself. Anything can happen though, but
the Green Shift really isn't going over well out here. Luckily for the Liberals, we're only 14 seats total.
