In a normal work environment...... if someone needs to be let go........it is done with some degree of humanity .........as it is hard to fire someone. I had to do it once........and did not like it one bit.......There are ripple effects.......
But this bozo cares more about HIS vendetta than anything else. He could care less about the people. If anyone thinks he cares about his following and supporters........ they have been really fooled by him. He "cares" only as long as they are useful to HIM.

Exactly, nothing but heel-clicking blind loyalty is acceptable to him by his party or his base. And foolishly, neither group recognizes just how dangerous that can be with a guy like Trump.

Nor do they realize how easy it would be for Trump and his cronies to get the followers to go along with a more tyrannical style of government. They can do all kinds of things under the guise of "national security" or some such excuse. Trump already controlled the impeachment trial.........and in a tyrannical way........is now getting rid of those that crossed (betrayed ) him They would use euphemisms that don't sound all that bad.........what is even more concerning......is that many are ready NOW for such a change in governance.The right wing extremists & Trump loyalists would be first to align themselves up. Elections cannot be relied on anymore......and that too is part of how it all devolves into something different from a Republic. You can hardly recognize the US today.........just imagine what another four years of Trump will do...

I guess the court didn't find him convincing enough, In fact in 24 hours of the House introducing evidence in the Senate his proof was only used for a few minutes in passing. He also testified to being pissed that his talking points weren't used, and the transcript Trump released was true. He just took exception to Trump asking about the 2016 election and have a look at the Biden thing because it didn't look good.
