Giving your opinion who will be the biggest winner when all the dust settles and all is done from the coalition mess ?

The Conservative knives are out for Harper, will he still be around or will this help them ?
TheStar.com | Canada | Conservatives 'fume' about blunder

Will the Liberals suffer the most damage ?

Will the NDP pick up new members or will it hurt them ?

Will this help or hurt the Bloc ?

How will this be view by other countries ?

How long will the Coalition last or can they make it last till 2010 / 2011 ?

Yeah, that's exactly what I got but then I just put it down to the fact I'm always bad mouthing them and they didn't want to hear from me- which suits me just fine but Harper is going to benefit the msot out of this- mark my words.

If you adjusted something in your profile you need to go to your email address and click on the email the Forum will have sent you and the link inside to re-activate.. This happened to me yesterday when I changed something.. Just a thought..

I think I'll just leave the settings the way they are - those guys don't need to know what I'm thinking- they don't listen anyway.

I'm not saying to change a setting, I'm saying if you have not confirmed your email address yet it may block you from other access in this forum..

You will have gotten an email from this Forum to the email in your profile with a link it it.. You must click on the link to Validate the Profile settings and if you change something it may ask for it again, such as your email address or password..

If you are afraid of doing the basics of the Forum requirements, you may lose access.. Just trying to help you..

As for this poll I don't think people take it too seriously.. The question is not that politically charged. If your that concerned to answer this question I certainly would nolt voice my opinion openly..

The coalition is hardly a mess. It is democratically elected MPs doing something completely legal and neccessary. The mess is the conservative party when the opposition gets finished with them.

juan, then if the Voting would work it would the 3 other parties.. The truth is it may work.. I am not sure and on the fence post at this time.. I chose none of the above just to get the voting started..

The Liberals will benefit the most because this will lead them back to permanent power. The NDP will also benefit and the Conservatives will be the losers from this whole affair. The conservatives or should I say Harper will go down as the loser of the century

I don't think so. At least not in the west. I think this will create a real uproar in the West where the conservatives have a clear majority and the Bloc is viewed as traitors. There was quite a lot of pissed off people when that Traitor Emmerson jumped ship before the votes were even finished being counted in the last election. Power at any cost. Now the Liberals are trying to seize power despite not having a mandate. You would have to be very desperate to team up with a party that wants to destroy the country. NOt very democratic. Besides Dion is a lame duck goof and the top contenders for his job are no better.
Harper got something like 40% of the vote PLUS the 40% or so who were happy enough with him that they didn't feel the need to vote.

The Bloq will get the most out of this little unholy trinity.
Followed by the NDP.
Keep in mind neither has a thing to loose.
And everything to gain.

As to the Libs, I just don't know.
This could really come back to haunt the party.

But Dion is out.
And he is pissed off and unappreciated (in his mind) and so he doesn't really care how much damage is done to Canada.
Iggy, Bob and the rank and file should care.
And they need to be worried.
This thing could go down as the biggest political screw-up in Canadian history.

Well scratch,
That would mean your not paying attention.

And I guess I know something that you do not.

Did you think Duceppe would be doing it out of his love for Confederation?

These are his accepted demands to date:

  • Eliminate all federal spending powers in provincial jurisdictions;
  • Respect the Kyoto Protocol and establish targets for greenhouse gas reductions;
  • Assistance for workers in the ailing forest industry;
  • Changes to supply management for dairy farmers;
  • And finally, "non négociable," in the Throne Speech, an announced end to the combat mission in Afghanistan by Feb. 2009.

A minimum of $30 billion in spending has also been announced for manufacturing, auto manufacturing and Quebec's forestry sector.

Hey its a start.
More demands to follow.

Seriously I was ably to vote and didn't do anything special.

Hey good day Risus, wishful thinking the Jeannie is out of the bottle, if it doesn’t happen on Monday, in the next 2 years you will see this take place and with huge momentum and effectiveness. The New movie in town is playing now, called
THE CONS ARE BURNING. The coalition is representative of more that 50% of Canadians you got to remember these facts, the Con voters are only 37% so in reality the cons are a minority, they will be defeated as a minority, because Harper chose war verses unification to keep the country safe form financial turmoil....
The Cons are vindictive and deserve to tossed out from power......
And now the Cons have launch anti-coalition ad blitz while subjecting Canadians to unnecessary taxpayer money waist to cover his ass, almost like campaigning twice.....That is very popular………. :angryfire:

What a joke this will make me giggle when I am sleeping......
This poll conducted on here is indicative that the majority of forum participants are Conservative voters. Nothing but self serving facts............Come Monday we may see the unfolding of Harpers demise.
