That is assuming the law has any credibility. If it wasn't for environmental protesters we would be living (more like dying) in a toxic soup.To be quite honest I can't think of a single occasion where I've been very impressed with public protestors, outside of the old adage about "strength in numbers" and making a lot of noise, they very seldom have all the facts or worse yet choose to ignore some important facts & as far as I'm concerned as soon as they break the law they've lost all credibility.
As for the OP, and speaking of toxic soup, we are beginning to find that, like antibiotics, herbicides and pesticides are creating super bugs and weeds. Playing god with our food supply is turning out to be something of a nightmare. But then, the world is over populated, so I guess it will all work out in the end. As a friend likes to say, "why wait for the holocaust, mutate now!"
