sigh...

Tell me... Have the Canadian Commanders only instructed pilots to drop flower bouquets and fruit baskets on the heads of the Libyians?

Don't give me the "gratitude" crap. You guys are in charge. Where is your gratitude? We shouldn't be Bombing the Brains out of them but we are under the orders of a Canadian.

Your argument is FLAT. You are involved and have been involved in so many conflicts under the guise of "Peace Keeping" where very little peace has been kept. You sat out on ONE in the past 20 years... just ONE and that was the Iraq 2003.

Truth hurts doesn't it?

Now you are just being silly and nonsensical.

Please define what strategic is?

this is NOT about Me as a poster. No need for a personal attack......

I think you know what strategic means.

Not officially. By the time the US declares war there......it will have been warring for some time. IF it declares war at all. The whole war complex has taken on a very different role now. & tone now. It is more lethally manipulative more deceptive, more devious and probably because they are not being fought for defense of country. But for GREED , expanded power, more imperialism and world domination.

********

when China is concerned about how the US is spending the money it borrows from them , the US is in serious financial trouble.

it will be economics that destroys the US if the US is not careful. It cannot blame anyone for that problem...... as is its usual style.

What is the original mission of the U.S. in Pakistan? Hint: It has very little to do with Afghanistan.

Canada ordering more smart bombs for Libya campaign

"Good day eh? I'm off to deliver more fruit baskets!"

http://javascript:void(0);

How quick you forget that OBAMA made sure that the Libyan action was under the guise of NATO. so the US would not be seen as the aggressor again. But it was the USG that initiated the action. Yes it is a Canadian who is head of NATO at the moment.....and you just love it as you can blame him and Canada for the Libyan "intervention".

Obama manipulated the situation to difuse the US involvement as he KNOWS what a war mongering image the US has.

Yes but you misquoted me... You do realize that is a TOS violation?

Please refer to post #958 for clarification.

No need for a personal attack? Are you serious?

Obama never declared war against Libya either so officially it's two and two unofficial. Bombing a country officially or unofficailly is still an act of war.

No, more like legal revenge, I wish we had stayed out of this European NATO thing, but a treaty is a treaty.

Canada and US take turns running Norad. We are now linked as one when it comes to military.

Now you have got it, we are one. Brother

Oh you are truly a piece of work. Obama had to be dragged into this like Clinton had to be dragged into bombing the snot out of Serbia.

"Obama manipulated the situation to difuse the US involvement as he KNOWS what a war mongering image the US has." -- Oh do explain that one!

Oh... by the way, a Canadian is not the head of NATO. A Dane is. Do you check anything?

Ohhh... it's an intervention? Not an illegal war against a country that was no threat whatsoever to any NATO countries?

A Canadian and his staff is indeed leading this latest war of aggression though. Hurts eh?

EXACTLY !!!! Well said.!!!

And Canada is making darn sure there are enough of them bombs dropping! Geez... How many months has this bombing campaign been going on?

Who wants to defend the Warrior King Obama? Who wants to explain the explosion of the number of American dead in Afghanistan under the Warrior King's tenure?

Who wants to explain American involvement in a war in Libya that doesn't serve American national interests? Who wants to explain the Warrior King's drone war against the people of Pakistan?

Who wants to explain the Warrior King's drone war against the people of Yemen? Who wants to explain the Warrior King's drone war against the people of Somalia?

Who wants to explain the fact that the Warrior King has stopped taking prisoners in his war on terror because it is less messy to simply kill them and their families with death from above? Come to me and let's fight.

Well, there is NO RATIONAL explanation for any of the above. Anymore then there was a decade ago when the warrior bush got the US into the WAR ritual as a means to do "justice" to those the US considers "enemies".

there is also no rational explanation for how the US defines "enemies".........except that it NEEDS them in order to maintain their war policy active and killing. ( humans, animals, children, etc etc.......and the environment )

America has many remote enemies who pale in comparison to the real enemy. The American left. For the American left there will be no peace and no success. Better no America than a leftist America. Sorry to be harsh, but I am not in a forgiving mood. Neither are tens of millions of my compatriots. Obama is the father of conservative radicalism.

Here is an example of how different the two mindsets are:

Much has been made of the fact this is Canada's first combat mission since Korea, but the soldiers I met said they spent more time reaching out to the Afghan nationals than they did hunting down the Taliban.

An American soldier told me, "Your guys are different from us. You're here to be nice. We're here to pick a fight."

Yes, the Canadians fought when they had to — shot back when they were attacked — and died trying to make a difference. But what I've learned being here, is that the soldiers did more than carry out their combat mission. They carried themselves well under pressure, and under fire. Good ambassadors.

So, yes, Canada is involved in these military situations........but as you can tell........from quite a different mindset. THE ABOVE comes from the TROOPS themselves.

THat is why as Canada leaves Afghanistan today , it leaves with a favorable impression on the Afghans. Therefore NOT causing any reason for them to "hate" Canadians. That is about as much as one can hope for in such situations.

Think I am about due for a renewal, I agree this passport thing is a inconvenience, not to mention a additional expense.

The U.S. only agreed to help NATO because NATO has supported us in the past. As for Libya, we settled our grievance's with them in the courts. It may not have been how everyone would have liked it, but it was the so called civilized way. In my opinion NATO and Europe were the aggressors this time. You want us out of wars, stop getting us involved in your financial problems. (This case European oil)

You don't need an excuse to start a war. It is astonishing to read what americans believe about the wars that THEY are involved with and started. It is like reading an alien language. as it is so out of touch with reality......and so full of the USG propaganda. The truth has been the biggest and most tragic casualty in the US over the past decade and it is not getting any better. Little wonder americans are regarded as uninformed, uneducated and downright stupid around the world. The evidence is there for all to see.

In the fullness of time it will be seen that the war in afghanistan was lost by canada and america. The goodwill built by canadians means nothing. It will be swept away. Any questions?

US Expands Its Drone War

The strikes bring to six the number of countries where the drones have been used. US officials increasingly identify the East African country as a major terrorist base

More here:

..US Expands Its Drone War | Common Dreams

*************about the goodwill left by Canadians. We shall see. But it is still more constructive to leave on a positive note than an aggressive antagonistic note. Maybe the US could learn how to be just a little nicer to others and save itself a lot of grief. But it is too vested in aggression ....fighting and killing.

An American soldier. Does he have a name? Unit? In other words is there proof? Or is it just more babble? I'd guess babble.

I'm sure you're spreading all kinds of "goodwill" in Libya... one JDAM at a time.

Hypocricy... absolute hypocricy.
