You can't burn uranium without there being airborne particles PERIOD. Daiichi wouldn't be a concern. Chernobyl wouldn't have killed thousands upon thousand if burned urainium weren't able to go into an aerosol.
What facts the one you didn't understand and keep referring to about DU in a solid? What have you learned today about uranium and alpha particles when they are in an aerosol state?

It's not a different topic. When a DU round is fired and it hits it's target it goes pyrophoric burning at 6000C and turns to a breathable aerosol chalked full of ****ing alpha particles which get lodged in your lungs and can take years and years to give you cancer.
The debate was about DU... now he is bringing in all types, and forms of radiation because he has no evidence that supports his claim the DU causes increased level of cancer and birth defects.
So... he's moving goal posts to expand the various dangers of radiation.

You posted the fact that DU gives off alpha articles. I posted the fact it (DU, alpha particles and all) goes pyrphoric and turns into a vapour, The alpha particles attach themselves to soot, water vapour, dust, sand, oxidized materials, they make their own ceramics all which float freely and are breathable and kill lung cells within 3cm of where they lodge in your lungs.
