I don't believe in an afterlife. I'm hoping that the technology to download my brain into a computer world is realized before I die.

I must say, tamarin, you say some really warped things sometimes. I sometimes get the impression that you live your life in a perpetual depression.

Heaven is an escape for most people. It's a consolation prize that they cling to in order to make their Earthly lives more tolerable. Don't rob people of that.

Heaven could never be heaven unless we weren't there. It is a remarkable place so unlike the earth. Perhaps the good are allowed at least a visit.
